I’ve been here numerous times and I am very disappointed with the service I received today from their bartender “John.” John did not greet us when we walked in, nor did he bother to take our order. Luckily, one of the barbacks’ that recognized my boyfriend and I was able to take our drink/food order. After we received our drinks, John appeared only to force my boyfriend and I to leave a card on file, stating that it was POLICY to do so. When I mentioned to him that we‘ve never had to leave a card on file, he again repeated that it was policy & that we had to. This left us feeling a bit uneasy, but we went along with it as we were just trying to watch the game and have a good time. Someone else sat on the bar right next to us, ordered with JOHN, and John never told the client they had to leave a card on file. I brought it up to John’s attention and he said “I haven’t seen you before, and the reason why I ask for a card on file is because I’ve had people walk out without paying their tab before.” Not only did he go against the bars “policy” but he also insinuated that he did not trust we’d pay our bar tab. John never apologized when I brought it up to his attention. Lastly, to add insult to injury, ANOTHER couple sat to the left of my boyfriend and I and you guessed it, John NEVER told them they HAD to leave a card on file. Additionally, he never returned to us to ask us if we wanted additional drinks/food. As mentioned in the beginning, I’ve been here numerous times and I’ve never experienced the discriminatory behavior John demonstrated. Otherwise, the staff here is great, down to the barbacks. But, knowing someone like John works here really makes me question if I’d want to return to The Hangar again. Do better, JOHN.
My girlfriend and I ordered from Hangar 11 on Grubhub. The bag was sealed upon delivery, so the Grubhub driver did everything right. I ordered the business class chicken sandwich with no cheese. It came without the applewood bacon and without the avocado as well, so I received a piece of grilled chicken on bread with lettuce. We also ordered a chocolate cake that never came. We called the restaurant about the cake, and the person on the phone told us the chef assured us the cake was in the bag, so we needed to take it up with Grubhub. This restaurant has a lot of great options but very poor service. We will not be ordering from them again.
This place is awesome! Great selection of beers and the food was good too! Make sure to check out the daily specials! The bartender was friendly and informative too with different drinks! Will definitely be back!
This was my second time in this place. First time we were waited on by a very efficient and friendly young lady, sadly I don't remember her name (she has dark curly hair and green eyes and is athletic build). We had lunch there with 5 of my friend. We ate and drank until we could eat no more. Worth every penny even though food and drinks are a little lower than mediocre.Second time around totally different story.I had a question about the bill so I asked to speak to the manager. He approached us in a very UNapproachable way, I think his name is Joann.When I asked why they were charging extras (stuff we didn't consume) he became so defensive which I found very strange. He seemed super uptight and hyper and was just plain rude!He is not manager material. Needless to say my friends and I will NOT be coming back to this place and will be telling my story to anyone that would listen.I'm giving them 1 non-deserving star (cause I had to in order to write this review.
Friendly staff. Great atmosphere and prices. You should definitely check it out and see for yourself! You won't be disappointed ?
Curly hair girl with mole do your business the favor and train her on customer service. We asked for an old fashioned she didn’t make that drink, fine. We ask her what kind of bourbon drink she makes, she points at the bar to show us the bourbons you carry, fine. We ask for a whiskey on the rocks and a merlot. She doesn’t check in on us for an hour. Then she comes to bar and points at the bar and we assumed she said “do you want another one” instead she was asking “are you done” How do you run a business like this?
Great bar food! Banging shrimp tostadas have great flavor, very tasty mozzarella sticks and dat cheesesteak burger!! Beautifully cooked and seasoned— even the bun was lovely! (Come hungry if you order that, I don’t know how my friend managed to finish the whole thing!) I usually come here earlier in the evening when it’s pretty quiet. Servers are really nice too!
