Firstly, the guy serving us stared at us so weirdly and was off putting the entire time. Did not put enough white sauce even though we said “extra white sauce” and too much hot sauce. It made the food inedible. Also asked for pita and he did not put pita and still charged us extra for it. Worst experience I’ve had here. Very disappointing.
Thee best chicken n rice/gyro street cart I know of! They seem always be open, and people are always lining up! My personal favorite is chicken gyro, my kids enjoy chicken n rice with white/tzatziki sauce as well as lamb n rice. We love it!
I paid toll to get there because someone recommended to me. Everything looks alright but lamb on my mix plater was very hard and dry. Didn’t meet my expectations!
Perfect comfort food at midnight when every other place is closed. Good size portions
Best halal cart in the area - and if you're familiar with the are that speaks volumes. Hot sauce is A1 and plates are always consistent. 10/10
The best halal food I’ve ever had. I order the chicken over rice with white sauce and it shocked me since it was so good. For the price it is a really good deal. The people running the cart are so nice and they get you your food really quickly. Overall it is really good place to get a quick meal and you get more than what you pay for. Never once have I had their food and finished unsatisfied.
My friend recommended this cart and I was highly satisfied with the falafel over rice. It is very hard to find tasty falafel, so I did not have high expectations. 10/10 recommend to skeptical vegetarians looking for a good falafel over rice plate.
I purchased 2 food chicken over rice on the hillside Ave and little neck parkway… Hamza & Medina -we found a long hair in the middle of the rice. I took pictures and went back to speak to the guys in the cart that sold me the food he wasn’t there however they started arguing with me and mentioned I’m looking for a free food. They treat me as if I was begging for a food. I showed them the pictures of the food and they said how could I prove it’s their cart. 1 I know which cart I purchased the food from—-2 I have money I would give them as a Tip the same cost as if I was going to buy a food. But was not willing to to pay for this particular food. — the cart guy down the block heard the commotion and he offer (me a free food nice cart owner- ) . I refused his offer it’s not about his food because he is a nice guy.. I would buy from him in the future. The audacity of the Hamza and Medina cart workers really showed it’s all about the money and no human element. I have pictures of the hair stuck into the rice they serve. If someone eats food from a food vendor that license and get sick you would have to prove you bought the food from them. It’s a cash driven business and they don’t give receiptTo top it off he kept telling me I can’t take a picture of his vendor Id. I am warning anyone that buys from this cart know the truth. I will file with NYS and nycdepartment of health and food preparation as well as NYS and nyc to open an investigation into taxes that is not being paid( cash driven )
After my bad experience I had decided to give this another shot after a year. Now I know why it was bad and will not make this mistake a third time. After each bite I had either a small bone or cartlidges. That is a very disgusting taste which makes me go further and further away from these carts.
One of best Halal food trucks in Queens! I get the combo chicken and gyro platter with the works. The food is tasty, I don’t recommend eating it for lunch because it will put you in a food coma. The portions are huge and it’s dirt cheap.
