Okay this is one of my favorite quick things to order to eat for either lunch or dinner. They never pick up their phone. And my order was wrong multiple times I have put in my notes sauce on the side and light on the salad cause I’m not a big fan of the salad. I am disappointed I’ve payed my money so many times thinking they would get it right and it comes wrong plus today I couldn’t eat out all my food as you can see the sauce was toooo heavy or too much for me. That’s why I like it on the side to pour on how much I actually want. Taste a 8. Presentation 4. As pre what the customer ordered Zero.
The food is well prepared, seasoned and made to order with care and you can taste the love in the food. The guys working behind the counter are always willing to serve and help with a smile. Locked my keys in the car while ordering take away, the main guy at the counter was great help and let me use his phone to call roadside assistance and made sure when they called back to inform me. You can’t go wrong with a place that has a good food and good people combo so stop in sometime and try a combo, I had the jerk chicken quesadilla combo and I’m finally home enjoying it.
I got the jerk chicken over rice two days in a two. What’s consistent is beware of the parking situation, the shortness of the people taking the orders; almost borders on rude and the up charges. To get some slivers of picketed cabbage or onions, it’s 75 cents half of a small avocado is 2.50. If I rated it yesterday,It would’ve been a solid 4. The meal as temperature hot and it was overflowing with jerk chicken. All of the salad pieces were evenly cut so it was a great eat. Today, way less jerk chicken, lettuce that was long like a CVS receipt and it was warm not hot. It’s a GREAT idea and a good meal. The upcharging and inconsistent portions can not be sustained. I’m local so it not a far drive. But appreciate those seeing you on IG and TikTok. Make it worth the ride and a return visit.
Truly an unremarkable experience. Between the staff slapping together food in a messy area and the stench of marijuana upon entering, we weren't expecting anything close to a good meal. The Cheeseburger featured stale bread, a frozen patty and unmelted cheese. Fries were your classic, frozen fries that pop with grease and leave everything to be desired. Adding in the wait time despite the order being marked as ready, this was our first and last time visiting Halal Bros.Response to owner: We can go lower than 2 stars too.
Do not go here. This place gets a 1 star just for how rude the treatment is and overpriced the food is. The prices online for the menu is not accurate. I asked about food options for dietary restrictions and was met with an attitude like I was stupid for asking. The cashier was so disrespectful and rude. Minimal effort and was on her phone. I noticed other customers were not respected either. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE.Follow up response to the management reply: I didn't disrespect the employees and was still patient and the fact that the response is a made up lie and focuses on targeting me instead of addressing the real issues is the reason why nobody should come here. An honest warning for anyone debating on coming by the 4.8 star average of reviews.
Probably my 5th time coming but THIS time, I met Bobby, the manager. Off rip you can tell he is warm and welcoming. He gave me the best service out of all the times I came! It don’t take much to provide good service, just a kind heart. He took my order with pleasure and didn’t make me feel rushed! I went out to my car to wait and he brought my food in like 6 minutes after ordering!Very appreciative of his good managerial skills during a fast paced environment!!! Tell your other cashiers to learn from you, Bobby!-Marsha
100% Halal and Delicious!! We ordered jerk chicken over rice combo, Mac n cheese, hot wings, cheeseburger, fries, buffalo chicken burrito, chicken zinger burger, and the lamb quesadillas. The best items were the lamb quesadillas. The fries could have used more salt and the hot wings were too salty. The zinger burger and the cheese burger did not disappoint but did not stand out either, they were your average burgers. The buffalo chicken burrito was good but the tortilla bread was too soggy, maybe need a thicker bread or wrap. Jerk chicken was good but the flavors weren’t meshing well with the rice and veggies. The sauces were on point especially the dragon one. We also had drinks order but they forgot to put in the bag. Other than that the restaurant was very clean and will def recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
Waited 45 mins for my order. 45 mins later the dude walks in with bread because they had ran out. I get home and see these pathetic excuses of cheesesteaks. Absolutely horrible. Where’s the cheese?? They advertise things which aren’t at all what they say. I guess I’ll have to stick to only chicken and rice from here going forward.
Great Service and amazing food. The food is fresh and the salads are amazing. My personal favorite is the jerk chicken over rice and their cheeseburgers are great. Chef Terry does a great job and they maintain their excellent quality throughout the day.
Best Halal spot with good prices! Best food in the valley stream area. Food tastes amazing try the jerk chicken over rice and you can’t go wrong. It’s more than delicious! Customer service is just awesome ?? friendly employees.
