Food is very fresh and tasty and cooked fresh, chicken over rice is excellent, falafel is always excellent, and the guy who runs it is friendly and is sure to keep the cart (and area around it) super clean and organized. Good food and good value, really pleased to have this in the neighborhood!
This is the best halal cart I’ve ever had (yes even better than the overrated 53rd/6th halal guys). The guy who runs the cart is extremely generous with his meats and even will give a free falafel for you to enjoy while you wait for your food.The meat is never dry and he will also give you an extra falafel inside and sometimes a few French fries with your over rice combos. He adds onions and peppers as well for some deliciousness.He should be charging at least $10 but the combos go for $7/$8 which is really cheap for what he gives you.Give him some support during these crazy times!!
This is my favorite Halal Cart in all of NYC - and I'm a native New Yorker, so I've been a lot of halal carts. The guy who runs this cart is always super friendly, and the prices are always super fair ($7 for lamb over rice, although I always tip an extra dollar because his service and food are THAT good).Speaking of the food... It's not your typical halal cart lamb over rice. It's served with fried falafel balls (which is usually deep fried on the spot), and they're delicious. The onions, which is fried with the meat, also differentiate this cart's flavor and quality from other carts'.

I came here Christmas eve as they were one of the few places open. There was quite a mixed crowd either due to popularity or lack of restaurants open in the neighborhood? They did not have available my gotos like sesame chicken or sweet and sour dishes so I ordered a lemon-flavored chicken which was decent. Honestly, if there had been other places open I would have gone elsewhere. The service was prompt and friendly, but the meal was less than inspiring. Still, it satisfied my hunger for the evening. Would I go back? No, there are better Chinese restaurants out there
Delicious and fantastic delivery! We had beef teriyaki on a stick, General Tso and Beef Lo Mein combinations delivered to our hotel. The teriyaki was tender and very tasty. The generals was tasty and all white meat with a nice amount of spice and the lo mein was perfect with lots of tender beef. Excellent egg rolls!The food was delivered hot in about 30 minutes and our delivery man was awesome! My husband accidentally gave him an extra $20 and he returned to tell us. WOW. Thank you for the delicious meal and for the honest delivery man. *Cash only establishment*
