Friendly staff. Great service. Delicious food. Love their food presentation.
My girlfriend and I came in to eat last night and had food poisoning. See receipt for proof. We ate and after we got home we both got non stop diarrhea for a long time and after some Advil the pain continue we later went to the hospital to get check out.Even the whole experience it wasn’t as great, as we got there around 8:30 it wasn’t that busy but I didn’t even have a bowl until the lady tried ti serve me the rice cake. I order a soup, and didn’t have a spoon until after I ask one of the cleaning person for one. We kept asking for help to the waitress but was ignored. The meal itself didn’t taste that great so we didn’t even finish it, at the end we took the seafood pancake home and left more than half of the main dish. I think that was the problem, Doctor also mention that it might have been fully cooked. Since it was just left on the grill plate to cook and out in the open.I would either avoid or recommend you order something else that is fully cooked to ensure our experience doesn’t happen to you.Take caution, see pictures.
A nice place on Northern Blvd. Love the ordering process, through a website, connected to a code on your particular table. The gopchang, intestines, were cooked perfectly, usually on the unoccupied table next to yours or in the kitchen. After it’s cooked, they’ll offer you if you want fried rice on the same pan that they cooked the gopchang in, and make sure you do. It’s amazing! It’s not the cheapest place, but the quality is great.
Food are Great and so delicious! Staff are Nice...outstanding Service.i'm here almost every week. I can't survive a month without eating here???
I loved the atmosphere, and the service was great. We ordered one portion of large intestines, one order of boneless galbi, vegetable japche, two orders of the fried rice cakes (must try), seafood pancake, and soup. It was so goooooodddd.
My wife would come here every day if she could. The food is great. The service is also terrific. If you like intestines or Korean BBQ, this is the place.
This is one of the most authentic Korean restaurants in NY. I have had gopchang in Seoul, Korea but this one beats it with a cleaner, less gamy taste and wonderful staff. I was pretty much the only white guy there, but if you have an adventurous pallet, you should try the beef intestines here. They definitely will surprise you with a slightly Chevy but not rubbery texture and wonderfully rich flavor. The chige with intestines is a must-try.one of the best I have ever had.
We went during off-peak hours and it was great. They hadn't started playing loud music, which was the case for the Manhattan location during peak hours. The service was great. The place makes you feel like you're back in Korea. The food was tasty but we wished the fried rice they prepared after we were done with the intestines was less spicy.
If you like intestines than this is your place. Food is really good and the service isnt too bad.As expected service becomes pretty bad once they start getting busy but hey who cares when your eating something delicious! Sidenote: don't forget to order the fried rice after you finish the intestines. Worth it!
DO NOT I repeat! Do not buy takeouts hereIt’s a scam. $30 does not include rice and the intestines were coldddd. Delivered on time but food is cold. Portion is soo tiny!! Look at the picture. That’s what you get for $30 plus tax.
