Excellent Korean BBQ in reasonable prices.

The food arrived quickly. The meat was good, and the combo platter included a variety of different meats. They provided a plate of sauces and spices. There is a waiter close by to help if you need. Even though there was one nearby, he never came over to refill the water and take away the empty trays until we asked. Don’t expect much from their waiters. The restaurant is dirty. Apparently they only clean at the end of the day, because there were scraps of meat and other food scattered on the floor, the bathroom has no soap, and they brought us over to be seated before they cleaned the table properly. Their cleaning only consisted of a small spray down and paper towel wipe. Overall, food 4/5, service 3/5, sanitary 2/5. Worth giving it a try on a less busy weekday, but definitely not worth the wait on a weekend.

A nice place. An atmosphere of tranquility. Delicious food; Fast service and very well attended. An experience your table with your own BBQ.

I was so pumped to try Gan-Hoo BBQ after seeing all the food photos on social media, but I felt like I was let down.I'm so glad that I made a reservation for my friends and I because it was extremely busy, which I would expect on a Saturday night. Even though we made a reservation, we still had to wait for some reason. And then my friend had to go ask the waiter again just to seat us. It seemed like they forgot us or something. At that moment, I felt like service was going to be just average, and I was so right. I know that this is a BBQ spot and usually we would cook the meat ourselves, but considering the price we were paying, I expected that the staff would check in at least a few times to make sure we were doing everything properly. Also, they just tossed all the meats into the grill without explaining what meat was what. I didn't even know what I was eating at some point. Just felt like we were stuffing ourselves since everything was being cooked at once.As for the food:- the meats: we ordered the Meat Lover's Staircase Combo and Gan-Hoo Beef Combo: looked super high quality and looked like there was a good variety. Unfortunately, while eating and cooking, I couldn't tell what was what. We even asked the staff, but they seemed like they didn't know.- pork belly: was pretty good, nothing much to say about it- beef tartare: my first time trying the dish, so I can't say much about it. Tasted alright, personally I don't think it's my kind of dish.- wagyu fried rice: so much rice and oil, but so little wagyu. still tasted good though.Overall, my friends and I were pretty disappointed at the experience. Probably won't be coming back. The food was alright, not amazing. Service needs to be improved.

meat lovers stairs is good for sharing, some diff variety to try. Watermelon juice is refreshing. Free refills on the sides/small dishes. Join the waitlist before going! A bit pricey but worth trying!

Good food and good service

Love this place. A little bit pricey but it's worth the money. This place get crowded very easily especially during the rush hour time. Service was on point. Love that the staff cook for us, so we just focus on eating. The staff are very knowledgeable in the meat cooking time, so the meats werent overcooked. The cooking plates are constantly changed

Good BBQ spot, food is on point and quite delicious. One negative is that this place can get very crowded and crowded to the point it's overcrowded while you wait to be seated...the waitstaff seemed very short staffed and we had to wait quite some time for any type of table service. All in all a solid BBQ spot in Flushing. The A5 Wagyu is a must try! Good for big groups.

Amazing quality food, great ambiance and A class service! What to you need more to enjoy a great meal :)They are truly serving their guests. So much attention and care. This was my first time here, but will be back again.
