The food and service is always great. Its a great place to meet and have a drink or a great meal.
Always my very favorite place for a fantastic burger. Brought a new friend who really enjoyed the Portuguese 1/2 chicken. And my guy loved the grilled chicken sandwich. Excellent fries and terrific bread delivered to the table! Good service and nice ambiance. It's always busy with private parties on the weekend. For a quieter meal, go during the week!
First time here. Good house wines. Try the Storypoint Cab. Excellent. I had the seafood special over spaghetti in a vodka sauce. Really nice dish. Half a lobster tail, large shrimp, Manila clams and spinach. Really enjoyed. The skirt steak was good too. Overall, a nice meal.
Even though we had a reservation and there wasn't really anyone there, we were told it would be a 10-minute wait as they were cleaning up from a party. Then they offered us a high-top table in the bar area without a wait, so we took it. We sat for a good while before we were greeted and offered drinks. So, service started out slow, but then picked up. Once our order was taken, our server was personable and attentive. Couldn't give outstanding because of these factors. Other than that, food and drinks were very good!
A festive atmosphere with parties happening all the time. Everything from burgers to steaks to pasta to salads. Prices from inexpensive to steakhouse. Weird pre-packaged desserts. Nothing homemade.
I had the salmon that was absolutely delish. My friends shared the porterhouse - I took a bite and there was something I didn't like - a seasoning or something. I prefer steak plainer. There was a sauce on the side of the steak that I used for my salmon and it was awesome. But the one that stuck out was that the waitress was so nice and friendly and helpful - substitutions were not a problem. It was a nice night.
Been to this restaurant many times, however due to numerous events going on at the same time, the restaurant was noisy to the point of not being able to hear the people you were seated with. Also due to these events, service was slow. Still the food was good and the owner was fantastic as usual.
We found this restaurant when looking for American cuisine so everyone had options- Galo Tavern 18 did that. Appetizers were substantial, food very good, service excellent. The only negative was that the specials were a bit pricey but I did not ask the price before ordering so thatâs on me. I would definitely go back.
Went for a special occasion. Everything was delish. It was a nice night out.
This is the second time we ate here. The first time was great. Tonight was not so good. Iâm not sure if they were short staffed but it wasnât the same service and food as the first time. Also, the noise level coming from one party was obnoxious. I couldnât hear my family talking to me.
