The food is good but we only try to come on the weekends because the customer service is terrible during the week . The young lady that answers the phone is rude .. and seems like she doesn’t want to be there I ordered the six piece wing and asked if I could have all flats she told me she didn’t kno .. and was very dismissive about it ..when I called and asked again for her to ask if it could be done because she “wasn’t sure “ she told the cook with a attuide “ I told her no “ no you told me you weren’t sure why would I call back of you were sure .. like I said the food is good but the customer service during the week is trash
I have been here several times and was never disappointed by the food... UNTIL TODAY?. The catfish was delicious which is why they received 2Stars, but the mac&cheese was horrible. No flavor, no consistency,it didn't even look tasty. I ordered collard greens, but received yams that had a bitterness which made things worse. I should have known this was going to be a bad experience when I placed my phone order because the young lady sounded like taking orders was disrupting was she was doing.
Food is great, been here a bunch of times, my last experience was so disgusting, I asked for a total over the phone and the manager asked why I needed the total… made no sense.
It taste like Northerns trying to cook southern food. Lacked flavor but to each their own
Been here a few times & the food is pretty good.. The fried chicken wings is amazing?? !! The potato salad they can work on, and the Mac and Cheese is decent!! The drinks are sweet lol ? but they’re gooood.
Food was nasty.juice taste very sweet like kool-aid threw my food in the trash
The food at this place was horrible. Got Whiting fish with greens, yams, macaroni and cheese and rice with beans. Everything was so bland no flavoring at all. After trying s small bite of everything I got sick immediately. I don't reccomend
The food was edible at best. Nothing to write home about. I did have some complaints and I wished I had known about before I spent all my money buying a family size meal. The ribs were tough, smelly and un tasteful besides that mouth full of after burn there was nothing there, the chicken lacked seasoning, the potatoe salad had way too much mustard, and their yams weren't special heavy on the cinnamon. The only reason I'm giving them a two is because I ordered a family size meal and I'm averaging them out. I wasn't a big fan of the mac and cheese it was ok I guess compared to the rest of the stuff on the plate and the greens were good. My son enjoyed the mac and cheese and the fried shrimp were on point. The rice and peas were average but I'll never be returning or recommending this place. My friend suggested checking out some local spots for a event but we can cross this one off! On to the next one I wish someone would have written this before my I would have ordered a lot less as a sample run!
Catfish Mac n cheese & Yams were delicious!!!
I love this place. I always get the 8 jumbo shrimp, mac & cheese, collared greens, candied yams & beans & rice. Food always fresh & good
