Food is good but the prices are a bit much
Idk who's been cooking lately but them large peppercorns in the rice is gross. For the last few months food hasn't been that great. I don't think I'll be going there any time soon. PS. Go on Groupon and buy a voucher and save yourself some money.
Nice experience jerk chicken was good I live in flatlands but will buy again when I'm out there.

First time visiting, food as okay. Not like The Door, but okay.They give alot of starch/carbs (peas and rice) and a small amount of oxtail (considering that it's mostly bones) and 2 pieces of plantain. Yep 2 pieces. Didn't know plantain was a garnish ?.Had a Groupon, so got $20 worth of food. Had to pay an extra $1.38 for the large oxtail plate. They need new menus, if the prices have changed. New menus are a good business investment especially with new customers.Unknown if I will be back. Maybe try others in area.
I went there literally yesterday & some man tried to charge me 18.20 for a SMALL OXTAIL! Where tf they do that at?! Then he tried to charge me for extra gravy! I walked out of there with the quickness.

Rice and cabbage is good . But the chicken is is not cooked all the way(chicken was pink)
Just came back from ordering from this place this my second time and I have to say over priced and I will take my money else where it’s always the girls they are extremely rude . They take my order far away I have to raise my voice to speak what I want. when you just want to ask a question about the food she did a horrible packaging job because I ask a question didn’t even hand me my food after I payed just packed it and walked away with a attitude this is the first soul food spot I ever went too that serve raw cabbage and I’m from Brooklyn . I also called before coming into the store too ask if the cabbage is cooked today or do they normally sell it raw she said it’s cooked as I went into the store I ask again she tells me it’s half cooked lol . Ox tails usually be good but today the food literally has big pepper balls as if they don’t grind the pepper correctly not trying to choke on pepper won’t be coming back to this store I rather go too the other soul food spot by the Q6 by McDonald’s but Unfortunately it’s closed on Sundays .
