Best Thai I’ve ever eaten, and I love Thai food, so that is really saying a lot. Each dish is a plate of artwork. I highly recommend the fresh fish dishes. Worth the price. The fish is so fresh. We were a party of six, and everyone raved over their food. I highly recommend.
Thai food to appease all palates, from spicy/unique dishes to your traditional pad thai/kee mao. Spring rolls were one of the best I've had in recent memory. The staff refilled water adequately and were friendly throughout service. Decor is trendy but doesn't feel out of place. Music is appropriate as well. There's no shortage of Thai restaurants in Queens but this one is a great one and better than what you'd find in the city. They do delivery within the neighborhood as well. My favorite dish was the soup, Tom Yum w Shrimp !
I never get to Astoria but visited this Thai place for dinner with an old friend whom I had not seen for several years. They had indoor and sheltered outdoor seating. We sat outdoors. Service was excellent and the waitress was a surprisingly good (even enthusiastic) photographer. Food was delicious and ample. We both loved the spicy Mango Salad. We also had the fresh spring rolls for appetizers which were excellent. I had Chicken Pad Thai and my friend had (I think it was) some kind of Lamb chops which she loved. We had dessert somewhere else. I would definitely return.
Ordered:Tom Yum with VeggiesTom Kha with ChickenCashew Nut with ChickenCashew Nut with TofuGarlic ChickenSides of Jasmine RiceMango Sticky RiceAll of the food was delicious and this was the best Tom Yum I've had in America so far. After studying abroad in Thailand, I am usually disappointed by the strong fish sauce taste and lack of lemongrass and strong citrus taste in all of the Tom Yum I've tried in California. As for the Cashew Nuts, it was strange because the sauces tasted different for the chicken vs the tofu one. But I didn't question why when I was there.Mango was delicious, fresh, and sweet. No complaints for the sweet sticky rice as well.Service was amazing and quick - we only had to wait 10 mins to get seated on Easter Sunday. Inside is cute and clean.
Just tried getting some orders and I told the guy whom took the order make sure it is spicy because it was not last time. He told me nothing he can do about it. That comes from the kitchen. He doesn't make the food. Unfortunately he is correct because he doesn't make the food but can't take that kind of service. Never order or go this place any more.
This food here is very good and the service is always attentive. I would recommend the fried rice with mixed seafood and their fried chicken.
Great Thai Food at reasonable prices.
A nice corner restaurant. Great selection of food and my Chu Chee Duck was very good. I also had a starter plate of the Calamari. Everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy their meals as well. I believe the others all had vegetarian meals. The service was very attentive and dining room comfortable. My main complaint would be the bourbon I ordered neat was the smallest pour I've ever had at a bar or restaurant. I could have debated whether or not it was a full 2 ounces and I realize it is not a lot of liquid but I know what I have had at many other establishments and this was certainly considerably less.
Everything! From the chicken satay to the mango sticky rice - great spot!
As much as I used to like this place, every time there is a new nonsense rule of an upcharge, like they charge you for the hot sauce even though you order few dishes, or no specials on holidays?!?The owner must be some really cheap unreasonable personPS: Respond to your answer: Not sure what you mean by being generous, but charging a dollar for a hot sauce after we have ordered few dishes, and only one sauce is included is far worse than ridiculous and cheap. Also every time we have to specify that we need chop sticks, otherwise no one puts them in the to go orders. It's an Asian restaurant, chopsticks are always included, everywhere we ordered from. If you are saving on little things like utensils and sauce that should come with the food, don't call yourselves accommodating or pleasing customers. Hope you got very rich from it!
