I have been dining at El Rey IV for a couple of years and the salmon, tostones and avocado is my choice of dinner. Always delicious. Great spot for singles, couples and family gatherings. Staff is super friendly and welcoming...A++

Gave this place the benefit of the doubt and tried it. We wanted to cater here for an event so we wanted to try it out first, best decision. Food was very salty my family and I ordered 4 different plates and all 4 plates were salty to the point we barely ate our food. All we got was “sorry”. I’m glad we tried this place before catering.
Food way over priced and not Evan good! I ordered a small appetizer, 2 juices, 2 bottle of waters, la bandera, (white rice stew chicken beans) my girl ordered a chicken Alfredo penne which was hell of dry. Bill came out to be 110.20 !! We couldn’t believe it for such a simple order. Plus tips is already included. OVERALL, food way too overpriced for no reason. Your paying for the place definitely not the food. Shame. I wouldn’t recommend !
Don't visit this establishment. They are very shady. The waitresses go around picking up your beers and discarding them, even if you haven't finished them! When caught doing it, I was told "oh you really drink it to the end " by a snarky waitress who allegedly didn't speak English. They also sent a bucket of beers we didn't ask for. All of this was done in an effort to pad an already astounding bill. We were five people and ordered 4 buckets and an appetizer plate, played pool for about 4 hours and the bill came out to $300! Stay away! Stay away! Stay away! I will never go there again!!!!
Horrible experience, ordered food that wasn’t even cooked right and it smelled bad , ordered French fries they tasty like they were reheated a couple of times, steak was burned , chicharron de pollo was raw inside , service was horrible and be careful they do over charge at least 8-10 dollars more on all meals and they charge gratuity and they even try to hit you with the tip. Horrible experience, BE AWARE of the prices and also read the reviews before you wast your time of going to this horrible place. Not worth it They should be reported to the Dept of health.
Staff was TERRIBLE!!! No professionalism… just rude and nasty. Me and my boyfriend went there and the experience wasn’t good. Would never go back there!!!! Wish we saw the reviews before we went! Wasted our time and money?
I would not recommend this place. Very shady and the food and service needs a lot of improvement. They don't give you a recipe showing exactly what they charging you for. I was charged a service fee, gratuity and since the recipe don't show it I also left 25% cash gratuity. If someone is leaving you cash gratuity be honest and let them know the gratuity was already included and if they feel like leaving you more then so be it, but don't be sneaky and take advantage and have the customer pay 3 different gratuities.

I love El rey! Although I have never dine in or played their pool tables yet. Their online ordering is always top notch. The Skirt Steak with rice and beans is always a great hit. The tostones with the pink sauce is the best thing ever. Although prices have rises up I understand prices in food have gone up everywhere so I happily don’t mind paying the extra money for good food. I will post an update as soon as I get a chance to dine in but until then they’re on Seamless and Uber eats!
