This is probably one of the best places to eat when you’re in Queens! It’s definitely comfort food for me! The dish itself is very simple but it’s very tasty and you customize your own sauce to flavor your chicken. I love the chicken broth and it’s everything in one plate. Plus the it doesn’t break the bank! Also they have nice selection of refreshments. I love their Thai Iced Tea and also their Thai Green tea. This is definitely one of my favorite places to eat. It’s cash only so don’t forget to bring some with you if you’re checking it out.
La comida es muy delicioso ? se los recomiendo
Ordered delivery from this restaurant through Weee! to NJ (highly recommended). The steamed Hainanese chicken and rice dish was probably the closest in flavor of all that I’ve had in the US to what I grew up eating in Singapore. The rice was spot on and the chicken, while slightly different, was very moist and tender (I understand this is the Thai version). It was boneless and carefully chopped—easy for the kiddos to eat without hassle. The sauce was amazing too—I practically drank what was left. I also really appreciated that they used non-plastic packaging when possible—actually reminded me of hawker style take out. More authentic and less plastic waste. Highly recommended and I hope to try the food at the restaurant one day.
Great Hainan chicken shop in Elmhurst. We went to the smaller branch of this restaurant that is just steps away from the original restaurant. There were a couple of seats available there. Small and quaint but great food. We got the combo so that we could try all 3 types of chicken. I preferred the roasted chicken and the breaded chicken, but the steamed chicken wasn't bad either. The only reason I took off a star was because of issues with cleanliness. Would be great for take out though!
I had the roasted chicken today for take out and I loved it. The only thing is that the portion size was pretty small for $10. The thai tea is also amazing here.
Thai-style Khao mun gai, one of the best in the city! They have new fried and roasted options, as well as a combo of all 3 kinds. I really enjoyed the fried option, def worth a try! Don't forget to load up on sauces, they are all amazing. Drinks are also great, esp Thai iced tea/coffee.
Quick and flavorful. Super garlicy chicken rice and well spiced roast chicken. Even had some crispy bits on the end. Make sure not to miss out on the ginger sauce. Super duper awesome!
This is our favorite Hainanese chicken. This joint is a Thai version of it and it is delicious! The chicken is served boneless and with gizzard and liver. We love the chicken and rice. The rice is full of flavor and goes so well with their hot sauce. It is like a salsa like hot sauce.
The steamed chicken with a side of soup was delicious. It was moist and juicy and the soy and spicy sauces that comes with the meal add to the flavor. Make sure to ask for the ginger/scallion oil. I don't know why they don't automatically give that to you. It adds so much more flavor to the dish.I got my meal to go and it was packed in paper. Seems more eco friendly which is great.
Delicious and sweet fragrance from their famous steam rice with ginger and chicken broth. Only have 2 tables inside if you wanna dine in. Good Thai coffee.
