Pretty decent food . Chicken and waffles was good . I was disappointed that the menu states that it comes with maple syrup but instead it came with a smuckers breakfast syrup ( which contains no maple )Aside from the false advertising, not bad
Always order takeout for dinner, but have been dying to try their brunch. They did not disappoint! The mimosas could have been colder, but our waiter Angelo, was super attentive and made sure our glasses were never empty. All the food was delicious and decently priced. One of our new go-to spots for sure!
Both the food and service were fantastic! The nachos were flavorful and the queso was layered perfectly with chipotle sauce on every chip! The birria tacos were amazing. And the quesadilla with fajita chicken was yummy, huge and filling. Can't wait to return and try even more off the menu! Thank you!
The food is ridiculously good. Theres an obvious elevation in the quality of the dishes and attention to flavor profiles compared to the other taquerias around. I find this place has the perfect balance of authentic Mexican food and infused dishes. The shrimp quesadilla, fish tacos and tortilla soup are some of my favorites. The photo is of a pork stuffed deep fried poblano smothered in a corn cream sauce which was the special one night. DrOol. Haven’t had anything I didn’t like yet and I’m pretty selective. Rare that a restaurant gets everything right. Welcome to the hood Dulce Cultura.
Good for dinner. Pork belly tacos were delightful, though I do wish there was a green pepper sauce on it (like what's served with the tamales). Tamale was also tasty but they aren't kidding on the cheese for the loaded fries. I would suggest a cotija instead of the American..towards the end it felt like we were eating a cheese soup. Our server was attentive & nice. The music was a little loud-enough so that it was a struggle to hold a conversation- though that could just be me. We'll be back to try the desserts!
Please eat here and keep this place open!! The vegetarian nachos are fantastic, burritos so solid, and the concha are new to me but delicious! I have not had better nachos in years. So glad to have you in the neighborhood
The desert here is a must as well, they have homemade ice cream! That is dedication to your service. I myself ordered the veggie burrito with extra guacamole and sour cream. Next time I’m getting a shrimp quesadilla! Also they have fresh made salsa, it’s delicious. Don’t miss out on this place, I’m sure not. Smells great, tastes great!
So my fiancé and I just moved to Astoria from Louisiana, and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to find a good Mexican restaurant to get my fix. Fear not local Astorians, and look no further.. Dulce Cultura has got to be the best experience I’ve had eating this fine cuisine. The first thing I ordered was simple nachos for take out, the flavors were absolutely present. After letting a hour go by for digestion. I called for a vegetarian burrito delivery, and my first bite to my last was heavenly! Today I’m ordering more. If you don’t become o switch Dulce Cultura, then you are waiting your time with these other places. On top of that Cali is awesome, and the whole staff are top notch!
The food was amazing, we had the shrimp quesadilla and birria nachos. For dessert we had the fruity pebble churro, nutella stuffed churro and homemade ice cream. Everything came out great, definitely recommend and for sure I'll be back more than a few times because there were other things I want to try on the menu. Met the owner who is very into understanding what you want and delivering. Not only was the service great but the food was amazing and portions were well suited to the pricing. All their sweets are exactly as you would expect them as my friends and I chowed down a little bit of everything.
