Specialty donuts. Lots of varieties to choose from. Friendly staff.
The focus here seems to be more on making clever flavors than making the best donuts. The donuts are just alright, but they're probably the most expensive donuts you'll ever buy. They go for clever flavors and presentation but the donuts just don't taste as good as other, simpler places. The peanut butter and jelly donut is fine... but I'd probably honestly prefer a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for the cost of the thing. Go down to Greenpoint to Moe's for the best donuts in the area.
Best donuts ever.Specially if you are vegan or vegetarian, this place provides you wide variety of options. My kids love their chocolate donut.
The BEST gluten free item I’ve had in a long time. The Marcona almond doughnut was amazing, soft and not grainy. It was almost too good that it tasted like there was gluten in it haha ( there was NOT do not worry). So worth it
Delicious specialty donuts ! Been to multiple locations around the city, and have always felt satisfied. They is a large selection of various donuts, but my favourites are their tres leches and sourdough salted pecan. They also will have limited edition flavours depending on the time of year (tried the St Patrick’s spiced donut today). Will continue to visit donut plant for a sweet treat.
Absolutely worth the trip. We both had a vanilla blackberry jelly yeast doughnut, that was also glazed. The glaze actually stayed on the doughnut throughout the eating process. We will definitely return
Once again I get there well before the posted closing time and the doors are locked!! I understand if you sell out of donuts but you still sell coffee and drinks!! Perhaps change your hours to 8-to sell out as opposed to 4 pm bc the doors are always locked by 3:30pm!
love the doughnuts, hate the pick-up experience. Ordered most of the valentine day special doughnuts well in advance, knowing they would sell out in-store, only to be greated with approximately half of my order missing and sold out at pickup time. This is the 3rd time I've experienced that particular snafu. A bit of advice: set your in-store pickup time to the opening time of the store or they dont reserve enough product to fill orders.
Place hasn't changes much since it first opened. The only negative I will comment on is the price of the doughnuts. Even though they are gourmet I wound up spending a little under 30 bucks for a box of 6. For Doughnuts though?? Even by NYC standards, that's a little high .
Best doughnuts in all of NYC. Wish they were open longer like back in the pre covid era.... I would give five stars if they were at least open later or everyday..
