1 hour and 20 minutes to get a large meatball pie. Delivery is like 6 blocks away. When the pizza finally came, it was cold. Honestly, this is one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. Quality of pizza in Astoria has gone way down, but some how Dino's found a way to make an even worse pie than all it's competitors. Normally I would give m a restaurant another chance, but nothing about this interaction was good. Delivery took too long. Pizza was tasteless and COLD. The "meatball" topping was dry and looked old. In my opinion, not worth your time.
My go to local New York Pizza spot. Most places food taste different after being renovationed but this place stayed the same if not better.
Never eaten here, joegambino2’s tiktok is so entertaining I thought I’d give it 5 stars. Hope to get up there and check it out once the Gov drops the C19 restrictions.
Great pizza!! Heart shaped pizza for Valentine’s Day ❤️
Thats my dad nick name. Pizza is good. Been going there since I was a little girl.
I've been a regular takeout customer for nearly 8 years, and the food continues to be good. According to Mint.com I have given them THOUSANDS of dollars in that time. It's the only Italian I ever order. But in the past year they have just routinely been making choices that I am not comfortable with and I'm about ready to give up. To start with, they have cut numerous items from their menu. Their right, their choice, but what's left is less appealing than former faves like the Scarpariello or the Fiorentina.Much more importantly, though, is the fact that I think they are deliberately trying to cheat people to cut costs. Routinely, now, I will order something and get a call saying "we're out of X, can we give you Y instead?" And Y is always significantly cheaper but they offer no refund on a prepaid order. I have also now ordered pepperoni rolls three times in a row and each time have received one roll in spite of the fact that it still says you're paying for two on the menu. Once is a mistake, twice is a coincidence, three times is a deliberate grift. The thing is, I know times are hard. I'm happy to pay more for something if you need to raise prices to stay in business. But be honest about it. Stop trying to trick people. It's not right.
Best in Astoria so far
Daughter is a pizza monster. She loved the pizza here so much she eats the crusts. The place is clean...locals are treated like they really visit the place a lot. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. This will be one of our regular place to go to when we are out.
This is the best pizza I’ve had in a very long time. I live out of state now so every time I’m back in NYC I look for a place to get good pizza. I am now done looking and will only get my pizza at Dino’s from now on. This place is close to my old neighborhood so that’s a plus as well.
Dino's has been in Astoria for over 50 years.Pizza, entrees, and sandwiches are all great...
