Worse food ever, I don’t even want to go if they offer for free food, lamb chop was so plain look like they didn’t add any spices except some red food color, for first bite I can smell raw lamb so disgusting, palak chicken was so oily no flavor, very disappointed, never going back
Waking in Jackson area we were looking for a descent restaurant to have some Indian delicacies. Google showed Dera nearby. It looked descent from outside. Inside ambiance was another story. For whatever reason servers were not into what they were doing. Smiles and connecting with customer was not their forte.. Aloo tikki was served without any condiments so was grilled chicken. You had to ask for everything. I really felt bad about the staff. In my mind they represent the state of management. I would not recommend this place.
First time here and was very happy with their selection of food. I ended up ordering the curry goat and some naan. It was so tasty, fresh, and not too spicy. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area.
I have been coming here for over 10 years and 1st time in the past 5 years, quality of food has gone down significantly since my last visit. Customer service is chaotic as there is no organization in how orders are being taken. Servers give preference to certain customers. I was cut in line 3 times and even after voicing my opinion, no one seemed to care. This no way to run a business. If you can, go elsewhere where food quality is better and you're actually treated like a customer and human being instead them making you feel like they're doing you a favor by taking your order. I had a very large order so I tried to be patient and understanding but I was highly disappointed, this is the last time I step into their establishment.
They just reheat your food in a microwave. Before this restaurant used to be great, everything was fresh. Now im always introduced to cold curries and stale naan. At least the mithai is fine and the chai too but thats not acceptable.
Briyani taste so good, they don’t know about anything with grilled food, curries are fine. They need to do some development in grilled food.
They serve good amounts of quantity, and food is always so spicy. The cook doesn't know how to blend spices and cook them well. My stomach always burns after eating food. They also need to improve cleaning in the restaurant as well. Bathrooms are always so messy. Afraid to slip. The staff is good and well-behaved.
Service was good but food was mid. They warmed it in the microwave in front of us but that wasn’t the problem. It came somewhat warm and tasted average. The chicken curry had a layer of oil over it and the tandoori chicken came completely burnt. Would only recommend if you have absolutely nothing else to eat.
Worst customer service. Over prices charge extra especially on debit card. 2 different prices they have for menue. Employees are very rude. Management needs to be improve. Or should I say they all need training. Please check your food b4 you guys leave from restaurant. They should shut down the restaurant ?
So freakin rude staff especially the cashier, I stood in line to pick up my order which was prepared and done already and it was sitting behind the counter. The cashier was so unprofessional, snotty, nasty attitude, uncourteous, unwelcoming, just to mention a few but the list can go on anything you can think of as negative for them people working there. I give them 0/0 star and will never in my life ever gonna visit them! Moreover, these people tried to rip us off by giving us 6 less kabobs we ordered 50! I’m glad I counted them several times and called one of them to come and count the tray! They charged us debit/credit card fees no matter whatever amount you use as long as it’s $10 minimum they say! But still! Charging tax is understandable but if buying something that cost you over $10 or $100 or say over the minimum amount and they charge additional fees like $10-$15 I was like what the heck! It wasn’t worth talking to them because I was wasting my breath. Lesson learned never go to them ever! Again 0/0 star.
