We had a celebratory group (9 ppl) lunch yesterday at the restaurant. Very good service, delicious food and super accommodating, esp we had a huge cake and puddings that they were able to keep them at their fridge. Highly recommended.

Great Japanese restaurant with delicious food and friendly service. There’s a ton of dog-friendly outdoor seating available; there’s plenty of indoor seating as well and a bar with two TVs. I came at 8pm on a Friday night and it was pretty lively and crowded. There were tables available inside but it was such a nice night and I had a dog so we got on the waitlist to be seated outside which took about 20 minutes. It would have been sooner but I think the hostess forgot about us and, after seeing that there were tables available, I went inside to tell her and we were seated right away. A bit annoying considering I left my phone number to be notified when a table opened up (kinda defeats the purpose of a waitlist) but in the end it all worked out.We ordered a couple Asahi and Sapporo beers, beef Udon, Crazy Tuna special roll, and pork Gyoza. All were very good and the service was very prompt.I’ll definitely be coming back here again. Next time, I’ll just have to make sure to be more on top of the hostess as far as getting a table if there’s a wait.

Wonderful restaurant with many options. They have late happy hour (I recommend the cucumber lime cocktail). The prices were very reasonable and the service was good. Portions were also good. We got tofu age, shrimp and veggie tempura, fried rice and fried noodle (udon) with veggies.Overall very happy with this place.

Dropped by this place on a random Saturday to get a quick drink and some food. We ordered the Sake Tini ($12) and draft beer ($8) as drinks.Service was good, and we enjoyed the Shiitake Mushroom roll was pretty tasty. The scallion jalapeno cucumber roll did not live up to it's name, but was decent enough. We've had better veggie gyoza in the neighborhood, and felt the dumplings were a little thicker than what we like.Service was fairly quick and we got our food within 20 minutes or ordering.

Had dinner here tonight before heading to JFK. The Shrimp shumai were fresh and hot. The miso black cod was subtle flavors accented with asparagus and so delicious. Had one large bone though so please be careful. Shared a sashimi deluxe which had very fresh fish and what appeared to be wild salmon. Very good platter. We are celebrating our 34 anniversary and as a surprise we were treated to vanilla ice cream with an adorable decorated plate. We enjoyed a cold sale to round out our meal. Service was quick professional and efficient. I’d eat here again no question

Excellent sushi and a small but mighty Japanese whiskey selection can be found at this delectable restaurant.Came here with a friend and we both had a wonderful experience! The Mississippi Roll and Vernon Ruhl we’re both delicious. The Mississippi roll had a nice kick to it and the Vernon roll was quite satisfying.I tried the Kuroshio whiskey and it was fantastic! I tend to enjoy speyside whiskeys such as Glenmorangie and Ben Riach. This tasted different from both of those distilleries’ offerings but had a similar smoothness to it. Quite enjoyable!

I liked the sushi. Customer service was pretty good also. Would visit again.

Awful sushi

The food was surprisingly good. We had sushi, sashimi, and rolls, all of which were quite delicious and fresh. Ordered sake and beers as well, which were decently priced. Staff was generally friendly and attentive. Overall, very satisfied w/ my visit.

Very good sushi with friendly staff. Great happy hour specials.
