Probably the best Vietnamese food I ever had. You normally see Vietnamese restaurants with Pho and sandwiches, but here you can find clay pot, fried rice, and vermicelli. The taste? Absolutely delicious, and flavory.
Every dish we had was great! We got two bahn mis, the beef curried fried rice, and the pho beef. The sandwiches were perfectly made - nice toasty, fresh bread and the perfect combo of flavors. I preferred the classic to the grulled prok banh mi. The fried rice was perfectly done too with that nice seared stir fried flavor. This was my first authentic pho experience. The beef pho was great! Flavorful and light! I would totally try more stuff next time.
First, I was served with dirty dishes with some leftover rice stuck on the surface so I had to ask for new ones. That’s fine, it happens. Then I was served with fried eggs that looked like some kind of plastic wrap. I carefully asked the server if it’s safe to eat, and he said yes, it’s just the way they cook it. Guess what? It tasted like plastic too. Lastly, I was served with a bowl of pho with a bug in it. When I flagged it, they insisted that it flew from the air. I told them multiple times that’s not the case, it came out from deep inside the noodles but they completely ignored it. Not a single apology but only talked to themselves in their own language in front of me. I had been going to this restaurant quite often for the past two years but I’m never going anymore.
This is a nice Vietnamese restaurant in the Hunters Point area of LIC. I came here for lunch and took a seat at a dog-friendly table outside. I ordered the grilled chicken lunch special ($14) and a Sapporo beer ($7). I actually wanted a Tsingtao or Saigon beer but they were out of both unfortunately. The grilled chicken was really good - it’s served on top of rice with a side salad with little bits of mint which was delicious. The service was fast and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back to try their Pho noodles, Banh Mi sandwich, and other menu items.
Pho came out lukewarm. I asked them to heat it up and when they brought it out again it was still lukewarm. Couldn’t feel the difference at all. I guess they put it in the microwave but definitely not long enough. Pho was not only lacking proper temperature but also flavors. It was tasteless and my husband had to literally pour sriracha just to get some flavor. Can’t believe all the positive reviews here. Other dishes were bad also, even the best one was just mediocre at best. Will never go back and would not recommend. Save your money and go elsewhere.
The service was smooth and super-fast, even during the peak hours of a Saturday evening. Inexpensive delicious food with vegan options. Nice decor! Overall, I loved it!
One of my favorite places in the neighborhood for good Vietnamese food. They offer all the traditional dishes but I mostly come here for the Beef Pho. Broth is flavorful with a generous amount of meat and toppings. They're a local staple and go-to spot when you're craving hot soup for those cold and windy days. Always friendly staff, with fast and attentive service.
Pretty decent pho in LIC. Quick service here and nice interior design. Came here on a cold night and was seated immediately, nice selection of traditional Vietnamese dishes.
Great food good mood loved it
Had a delicious meal with my friend! We ordered a shrimp summer roll as an appetizer, it was very fresh and had an amazing dip. We each also got a clay pot dish, I got the curry tilapia and it was soooo flavorful with only a bit a spice. Looking forward to going back!
