What an absolute gem to have in this neighborhood. Their menu is so interesting. I’d like to try it all little by little! The cold coffee I had was great, I liked the atmosphere, the friendly service and I’d much rather support their causes to help the needy with my money then spend my hard-earned $$ at Starbucks. I hope to be back soon and often. A PLACE LIKE THIS MAKES SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESSES A NO BRAINER!!! Thank you!
Place is amazing! It's so cute inside, staff is friendly and lets talk about the food lol. We both got the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant and omg! Hot, fresh, great flavor and the portion size was amazing as well lol. As you see in the picture the croissant is sliced down the middle and stuffed with deliciousness! If we lived in NY I'd be in trouble because I'd be here daily!
The coffee was bad, the worst coffee from Dunkin tastes better than this. The banana peanut butter crepe had overripe bananas!!! I had to separate all the banana chunks from it just to eat the chewy crepe. It was the worst breakfast I’ve ever eaten. The other reviews might state it’s the best in the neighborhood, which doesn’t say much. Please go somewhere else.
I love getting coffee from this place. It's shared by the church, so you can feel the Holy Spirit with each sip. The staff is very polite, and it has a nice atmosphere and minimal seating. Perfect for writing a novel,or just creating this week's sermon. They also have cakes and cookies that are heavenly, and a nice breakfast menu. I spoiled myself with the waffles which tasted divine. Sometimes they have outdoor seating, other times not, since the sidewalk shares the same space as the bus stop.
I had brunch today at compass cafe ☕️? the food was amazing great atmosphere, coffee excellent taste and dessert was out of this world. Compass Cafe is mission base every time you buy some it goes to a worthy cause. I would definitely recommend this place ?
This spot is the nicest coffee shop in the neighborhood by far. I feel so welcomed whenever I come in, and the portions are tasty and generous. The decor is so pleasing to the eye, with beautiful touches on the wall that make you feel like you're at European café. It's the perfect spot: soft music plays in the background, and it's nice to see others walk in as you grab a light brunch while working on your laptop. The bacon and egg croissant is a favorite, with spices that truly bring out the flavor tucked in a lightly buttered and flaky shell. The service is truly top notch as well. Friendly, warm and welcoming. It's also nice to know your business helps go to a great cause. I will be coming back every week, as a lovely change of pace from my home office. Highly recommended!
It was an okay cafe. I was in and out in like 5 minutes. The service was good but the store could’ve been kept a bit better. The cold was alright, not one of my favorite but it’s with a short. I really like strong coffee.
Great local coffee shop. Solid cup of regular coffee. Walkable from hotels in the area. Support local.
I come to compass often to get out of my home for work. It’s a very welcoming and calm space. The customer service is always on point and the food doesn’t disappoint. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to listen to soft music in the back ground as you complete your task or just stop by for the treats. My favorite is the Bread pudding.
Great coffee…great food…great employees! Plus all the profits go to help fight human injustice around the world…Amazing! Stubbled upon this cafe during a trip. It is now one of my favorite places! I will definitely make it a regular stop when I travel!
