Would've given a negative star if they let me!So Google maps tells me it's open and I come. Lights are still on, place looked open. I parked and walk up and the girl says closed, then walks to the back to cut the back light off!This is EXACTLY why I avoid this place and go out of my way to go to ANY OF THE OTHER COLDSTONE'S in Long Island!
I have been going to this location for yrs. My kids go to SJU so we stop in often. Today I was disappointed to say the least. Walked in to a dead store, and the person working the counter, couldn't even acknowledge my son, and I. When she finally did she was curt, and barely helpful. When she rung us up for ONE. Vanilla shake. At the cost of $11.46 I thought wow. Inflation is a monster. However it wasn't till I got home when I realized she ran my CC, and saw fit without asking to tip herself 15%. That seemed odd since I wasn't asked if I was going to tip. Normally there is a posting that states some tip procedures. It's frozen milk ppl. I guess she thought she was rather extraordinary. We will not be returning sadly. Perhaps a slice of pizza and a soda across the street for $7.25 is a better tradition. ?
I would like to understand how someone else online order is more important than my order? I walk behind someone who has an online order just like me. But he leaves in 2 minutes and I leave in 15. I tell the employee to check for my order on the fridge together with the other person, I’m ignored and they go ahead and take care of everyone. 15 minutes waiting for an order that’s on the fridge because they are too good to pay attention to me and decided to ignore me. I work on service and this is just blatant disrespect. Please send me a way to remove my tip from the online order.
Ice cream is happy but the employees don't look happy at all.No welcome.No thank you.No smile.Not a nice place to take a kid after school !!!
Excellent service and even better food!! The ambiance is great as well. Get the skirt steak for brunch, you won't regret it!!
Delicious ice cream. I usually get a simple vanilla ice cream with toppings and honestly the smallest size is more than enough ice cream for me. Workers aren’t that friendly but service is pretty quick. Nice location to fulfill those sweet tooth cravings.
Apparently they don't give anybody a kids size cup here unless you're a child. But that's not cold stone policy. Also, what if I'm buying the cup for my kid who's waiting in the car? Anyways, I'm not happy with this location. Cold stone itself is usually good albeit pricey, but avoid this branch specifically
Horrible customer service. We came an hour before closing and they told us the store was closed, even though there were people inside and one guy even managed to enter to get something and leave. Apparently the lady had an issue with US specifically, even though we were wearing masks. Point is, don’t waste your time and money on a place like this with mediocre ice cream :)(Btw it’s really expensive, not sure why, considering the place is in queens...)
On Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at around 5.30 pmI and my 2 kids went into that store for the first time.So we asked for prices, one of the servers just pointed at the wall behind him to show us the price without saying anything even no greeting, nothing.As it was our first time to order there, we kind off took our time to decide what we’d have, that particular worker “Lance “ I guess was his name gave us a very bad attitude, he looked impatient with usWhen we finally get served we didn’t get what what asked for, not only he forgot to add peanut butter cream but also was mad when we asked him to fix that mistake, he threw the cone in the garbage with such an attitude instead of just adding what’s missing. In professional service, not welcoming at all,Terrible customer service and expensive items.I would have given 0 star if I could. We’ll never go back to that place
Terrible place. Staff never knows what they’re doing. They have over charged me before and given me the wrong order. Just today I ordered a “love it size” and ended up receiving a “like it” but was charged for the “love it.” Don’t recommend this location.
