Healthy and fresh food, friendly and attentive service. No reservations accepted but the wait time wouldn't be too long even on Saturday evening. Highly recommend the coconut broth chicken for 2 (comes with veggies and noodles). I also liked the braised pork feet which melts in mouth. The highlight is their chicken for the hot pot, as it's very tender and with a hint of coconut after being cooked in the broth.
So I order what everybody was recommending. The basic a hotpot with chicken quite few pieces of chicken. Really expensive for some half chicken. Quite the same as you can get from a Cantonese scallion chicken in half but with a hint of coconut(maybe). With that only takes about less than 80% of the price from this place. We also order some pudding, not really recommending at all. Quite disappointed as my wife was being advised by little red book. But $130 on a dinner for two. Barely got me full. rip-off.
Great food.Authentic Cantonese flavor.Service is excellent!! Been there a few times and never once had any bad experiences. In fact ive seen customers creating all sorts of problems just trying to undertip those waistaffs. During these hard pandemic times where inflation is hitting every sector,I feel that 20% gratuity should be the best way to appreciates these hardworking employees.!! Of course I will do my part as a customer to keep the economy going.
Poor service and long waitI ordered at 11am (the first order of the day), and got my food at 12pm. ONE hour wait. I was told it takes 20min and I come and waited another 40mim. Lots of people got their food already. No apology and only when I asked, she gave me some explanation on the kitchen logistics issue. Poor ownership. They should have proactively handle this issue and not just keep me waiting and expect me to ask. Will Never come again.
The coconut favor is not something you will be able to find usually. It is more like a hot pot that you can place lots of things in it after the chicken is cooked. I would say at least worth of trying it out Once. Highly recommend coming in a group of 4, so you all can try out more things. Nothing really really stands out in my opinion. Shrimp balls are good. Soup is good. Everything else is fine.
Super fresh chicken, but you gotta get it during dine in to really get the rich flavor. Best to order with Chinese friends if you are not familiar with the menu. Delivery is still good, and their "cook at home" options are good too if you have the time and a large pot.Lunch special prices are very good.Ratings:R11 Marinated Beef Shin Over Rice8/10R5 Preserved Pork Over Rice8/10S7 Cordyceps Flower & Chicken8/10S1 Coconut W. The chicken ? meat is fresh and using real coco to cook. So fresh and sweet.
Must try their coconut chicken hot pot. It’s so tasty and soft. Never tasted chicken so soft from boiling it! Sometimes get real busy around 7pm, could get up to 1 hour wait for a table ?.
Coconut Chicken Hotpot is amazing. The free range chicken it comes with is super tender and the coconut broth is light and sweet. The hainanese chicken rice was just okay, you can it better elsewhere but I highly recommend the hotpot!
My first time...on the fence with this. Bro ordered beef brisket over rice, shared fish & tofu casserole. Beef brisket came first, 15+ min, casserole came. Bro finished his meal before I got mine. This was about 4:30 on a weekday. Service not so good. I had to ask to order, and also water. Food was salty but tasty. Rice not fully cooked.
