Not me taking time out of my busy day to write a review about the disgusting old light skinned lady that’s the cashier, this is my first time getting food from here and she turned me off completely, I will be giving this place a second chance because their food is not bad but I promise next time she gives me bad customer service I will be cursing her out because for a older lady she is very spiteful and envious, treats women badly when they come in, this lady took everyone’s order before mine and kept ignoring me for no reason then when one of the guys came from the back and asked if I needed help she called him and whispered something in his ear, I asked for an additional item that I didn’t received but it was paid for, mind you she didn’t help me at all, when the guy came with the item I’m missing she then jumped up oh I didn’t pay for that like lady how would you know if you didn’t even bother to look at my order, I was sooo upset, he then told her yes she paid for it, it’s on her receipt they need to get rid of that old miserable spiteful lady because her attitude towards customers is uncalled for , disrespectful and distasteful.
I WAS a frequent customer here. The food here is good, not great, but good. The prices were decent and most recently the prices have increased, in addition to the attitude from staff. The light skin older Jamaican lady has terrible customer service skills. Her attitude is stinker than the fry fish. She is cold, and wicked. Her tone is sharper than knifes. Her eyes are like daggers to your chest. Deadly. I had to flee to the halal restaurant next door. Customer service is very important to the experience of purchasing food. I’ve tried my best to deal with the attitude of this lady on numerous occasions. BUT today, is the end of this bully. Dear customer you deserve better! Take your business elsewhere.
Great place for Jerk Chicken! That's all I have tried so far and their macaroni salad but it's a great hidden secret for carribean food because a lot of people order from there but you wouldn't be able to tell from outside. Their spices are really good ?try it if your ever in town.
Rice and pea was grainy!!! Not Shelly, but grainy. Ox tail was OK, i’ve tasted better. Will not be ordering again. I’m seeing so many bad reviews. Oh yeah they don’t answer their phone for some reason
Their food is awesome but their customer service is awful especially the two ladies at the cash register their extremely slow sometimes disrespectful & they converse about personal matters while the line is piling up. The gentleman there are extremely polite and professional and they work really fast. The only problem with this restaurant will be the 2 cashiers
This is the worst place. The workers are extremely unprofessional. I went in there to by macaroni salad only as that is the only thing that is good in there and.they would not let me buy only that. What restaurant you go to and CAN'T by sides only.DON'T GET MAD CAUSE YOUR FOOD IS NOT GOOD AND YOU HAVE ONE DISH THAT IS AND YOU DONT ALLOW PEOPLE TO PURCHASE SIDES
Worst customers service ALWAYS! Asked for fried chicken they gave me bones over rice after they got my order wrong the first time. I miss the old staff. These new people have no common sense. Im done with this place after Ive been coming here for years. Smh. This is the only c&j that actually taste decent. Im over is place fishermen cove is better anyways.
One Of My Favorite Go To Jamaican Spot Can Be A Bit Crowdy At Times But Food Will Never Disappoints ….. My Fave Is The Pasta, Stew Peas, Curry Chicken ….Nice Shelly Rice And Peas ….. They Give Great Portions ?????
Yo seriously though we have to all remember a restaurant business is not easy period. To say the pasta was over cooked or spoiled is terrible to say... I wanna say it depends on the time you come to a restaurant too.Anyways... everytime mi go, the food is fresh and excellent customer service. I used to go all the way to Utica jusy to get food from them .... Line always out the door . Good food mon. LOVE ❤ CJ
Whatever you get... make sure u add some mac salad. Trust me!
