The dishes look really nice but portions are small. They do have some healthy options. The fish here was ok but not that fresh, tastes like it was frozen for a while before it was cooked. Average is around $50 per person.

Great value for portions! Staff was professional & attentive. Interior is beautifully decorated & clean, seating is comfortable. Appetizers: chicken in wine sauce, pork ribs in sweet sauce. Entrees: snow pea shoots, roast duck, fish were all amazing! Dessert was beautiful (and sweet).

The food was fine but I don’t like their service. We told them that we would order a lot to try but still they only allowed us to have a small table. We had 6 people and we intended to have a bigger table because we ordered more than 10 dishes. They refused even when the restaurant was half empty. I just don’t understand why and how do they expect us to go back if they served us like this?

The food and service is good. Portions are small so price is a little in the higher side. The squirrel fish is the kids favorite as it is fried and drenched in sweet sauce and deboned. Also the eel taste good but portion is very small. It is like a fried eel fish sticks in a sweet sauce which is also kid friendly. The soup dumplings are juicy. The spicy pot with assorted stuff is meh. Its very spicy and the pork blood and beef is very hard. Steam egg is a little bland. Dessert is some mochi pancake rolled with stuff peanut and sugar on a stick. Taste is ok but cute presentaion. Overall we had a pleasant time eating here.

The complimentary side (edamame and pickles) is the best of all their tasty dishes!!! The crab is the second best. Overall, it’s a great restaurant for jiangsu zhejiang cuisine. Worth another visit!

The design inside is beautiful. The waiter and waitress were very attentive. The food was a little on the salty side but will balance out if you have white rice. Don’t eat the fried rice with the dishes because it is also a little on the salty side. I took several pictures of what we ordered.

so we went to this place a few months ago which after grand opening. The waiting time is not too bad but the service is so poor!First of all, the food coming very slow. we waited for about 2 hours to get all the food coming and there are 3 different people served us due to the shift.Funny part was that they forget to put my dessert in the system and they told me just wait and the food would come. After that, the food is still not coming and I said it is fine we could pay without it. The waitress said we could give you for free and it should come soon. I said fine but suddenly that lady's face turned look like we take advantage of it? after few minutes, that lady said "sorry chef is off, we cannot gave you"??? and that lady said" I can give you some discounts next time, my name is Y**". seriously ??? do you think we would come again?Suggestions: please be kind to your customer and when you really wanna make good service please be genuine and do not be that fake!

I was on Cheli for lunch. The place happened to be not busy. It was Good Friday so I decided not to order any meat dishes instead ordered seafood and vegetarian dish. The longjing shrimp came out with amazing presentation and the taste was just as delicate. It was tender and the vinegrette sauce bring the right balance. Afterward, Chinese Yam and osmanthus (sorry for the spelling), there was no flavor. The sauce was kind of sweet so it’s overpowering. The tofu and crab stew surprising quite balance except the broth would be nicer if it’s thinner. I enjoy the flavor.Smoke fish was done perfectly, the exterior was crispy and yet it was moist and tender not dry at all. The sauce was just right. Last meal was fried pumpkin with salty duck egg yolks. I wish it would come with dipping sauce.Overall, great experience and the wai staff are friendly.

Some genius came up with the idea to cook orange and crab meat together..Picture is for squirrel fish. Pine nuts tastes pretty good, fish itself not so much.Portion was pretty small for the price. If customers should also be paying for the service and environment(both are great by the way); not a problem, just make the food delicious. But that was not the case. Food was way too sweet even for Shanghainese cuisine.

The food was alright not like killer will die for… I feel like people come here more for the aesthetic but the food was overly salted and also the portion sizing was very small. The servers were friendly but weren’t really attentive… We had to flag the server down several times to take away some of the extra dishes that were taking up space. The presentation was very nice but pricing wise and also the taste not really worth it… it’s a nice place to visit once but won’t be returning any time soon ?
