Cerasella is the go to spot for AUTHENTIC Neapolitan espresso, drinks and pastries. I have only good things to say about the wonderful owners who are kind and fun! Always leave with your belly full… and a smile!
Highly recommended! Very nice sweet pastry and the team was in a happy mood. Had a huge croissant, probably the best in New York.Some cute tables are also available outside in a little cabin with heating.
authentic as you can get without going to Italy
I have had the pleasure of visiting this establishment a few times. And has always been a great experience, From warm friendly service, outstanding quality authentic Italian pastries, cakes coffe (espresso is my fav) it reminds me of being back in Italy were an espresso is served with a glass of water to cleanse your palate, before having authentic espresso. I have had the pleasure of tasting many of their hand made pastries and it doesn't get closer than Italy, Even the packaging for take home is authentic. Not in a box but wrapped in a "quantiera" like is done in italy. I highly recommend to everyone to visit Cerasella and experience a real authentic espresso, or cappuccino and Neapolitan, or Italian pastry or many other products they offer. I am sure and guarantee the experience will be memorable and your palate will thank you.
Friends from Manhattan told me about this gem in my own Astoria neighborhood. This authentic Italian pastry shop will impress you with the quality and assorted deletibles. After making my selection, I sat comfortably while sipping an incredible cup of black coffee as I was served a chocolate eclair and a sfogliatella stuffed with delicately flavored ricotta. Great if you just want to take home some pasties or relax and eat in their outdoor "patio." My only problem is that I want more...much more.You know it's good when friends in Astoria rave about it. You know it's great when they start coming in from Manhattan!! Try it - you'll love it!
The service is more than great. Cesarella offers a variety of desserts: they even had neapolitan “mostaccioli”! Both food and coffee were astounding.
Not sure how I never knew about this place, as I'm always looking for good Italian bakeries! Cerasella is amazing. I wanted to buy everything as soon as I walked in. The people working there are super friendly, and the desserts are excellent! It seems like everything is super fresh - not sitting around forever with that preservative flavor that you find at other bakeries. The quality is top notch. I'll definitely be coming back!
You will not find better pastries anywhere in the city. The owners, Luca and Caterina have only been in the states for a few years, and everything is handmade in house and authentic Italian. We live 3 blocks away and we come for coffee almost every day; it’s unbeatable!
