Best spicy chicken sandwich I have had since Nashville!! (And I have been looking)! Will definitely be back there!
My husband had the Mild Chicken Sammy. The toppings were placed on the sandwich haphazardly. The pickles were in a single pile. Ready for one pickly bite. The chicken breast was burned. Because of this it’s flavor was bitter and it’s breaded exterior could have broken a tooth. The burnt taste was the only discernible flavor. My husband didn’t detect the slightest bit of spice, but maybe the hot version would’ve been better for him. The sandwich was greatly improved by adding the honey mustard sauce. The sauce however didn’t have any hint of sweetness, tasted like a spicy mustard. The fries were good, and the comeback sauce was great.
GREAT chicken! And great staff! I've been hoping for a solid Nashville style place around the Astoria/LIC are and this is it. Well spiced, VERY crispy (even after getting it home) and delicious meat with solid portions.One note: the LIC spot at least, is a ghost kitchen, so you normally can't just walk up to the store to get it, as I discovered today, since there is no storefront! But the staff there were very friendly, showed me how to get there and let me order straight from the kitchen. They even tossed in some free nuggets to let me see what all three spice levels taste like - and indeed all three were very good. I got the OG spice level this time and I may go one level up next time!
ordered the original sandwich and the mac and cheese. the chicken was overcooked dry and disgusting felt like i was gonna lose a tooth not sure why or how i even managed to force myself to eat such a disgusting sandwich. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! horrible overcooked chicken disgusting.
The first time I ordered from this place it was amazing. I was given two giant chicken breasts that were crispy, tender, and delicious. The second time I ordered I received two small chicken thighs that were crunchy and dry. What happened???? The sides are still good though. Two chicken breast is worth the money, but two chicken thighs was not.UPDATE: Management reached out to me and explained the situation. Will definitely be back again because they do have delicious chicken!
My husband and I ordered two Chicken n' Fixins, mine with Fiery thighs, and his with OG breasts, and it was great! Good texture, crunchy edges, moist chicken inside. Between us the sides were solid (beans and mac n' cheese), but the winner was the coleslaw. Interesting flavors and perfect texture! I only wish there were more of it in the container, which seemed a little light to me, but maybe it's because I liked it so much. The people on the phone and website were super responsive and helpful. "There are no breasts listed on Seamless." "They'll be ready in 45 minutes!" We'll be happy to order from them again.
I ordered the OG chicken via Grubhub, chicken crispy outside but inside is raw! My husband got bad stomach after that. Do not recommend!
Ordered a FIERY sandwich from this place on Uber. One of the best (and hottest) fried chickens Ive had in a while.
Loved the fried chicken sandwich! Cooked perfectly, delicious sauce. Also highly recommend the mac and cheese, surprised at how big the portions were :)
Terrible sandwich. We ordered online some chicken sandwiches and fries. The chicken was burnt and tasteless. We ordered the “Hot” sandwich and it wasn’t even spicy at all.
