I don't eat meat but all their sides are above average. It might be in the hood but it was my 3rd time going there I've never been to a place where literally everything tastes so fresh every time. My friend got pork chops and he said they were really tasty. All I suggest is add black pepper to your mac and cheese and it slaps lol it's good and fresh as it is but tastes a bit plain without pepper bc they don't seem to overdue it on salt and sugar in their food which is good imo lol
Okay Mac nd cheese nd the yams was good asl. But ya jerk chicken ain’t it, it ain’t even taste like jerk chicken not gonna lie. I’ve had better but ya sides nd stuff is good

We ordered the catfish (fried hard), Mac and cheese and yams, with a iced tea. The catfish was perfection, sides were fresh and yummy. Tea, sweet nice and cold. Regular.
We had catfish nuggets, Buffalo wings , whitings , Mac & cheese, and collard greens. All was good except the whitings. The fish was not fresh and you could taste it.
I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE TRYNA ACCOMPLISH BY COOKING FOOD HERE… THE WORST FOOD IVE EVER TASTED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE !! I saw 3 stars and took a chance. Then you have to wait almost 30 minutes, guess they need time to thaw out them frozen fillets from BJS .. What a nightmare.. fish is frozen from the supermarket, mac& cheese HAS NEVER TASTED THIS BAD.. UNBELIEVABLE close the damn shop or do better that was soooooo horrible..
Let’s talk about the non existent customer service at this bootleg establishment ?. I placed an online order at 12:45pm and received notification that i can pick up by 1:21pm. I get to catfish cafe and it’s a CLOSED AT 1:25pm. I called multiple times on both phone numbers and there was no response. I met a guy near the establishment that stated their hours changed and they don’t open until 3pm. I called to cancel my order and have a refund issued.But get this at 4:26pm I get a phone call from catfish and the female on the phone said “ yeah yo food ready” I explained that my order was placed hours ago and the place was closed. She responds “ oh we were closed, ok bye then.I will never ever come here again. And if you value your dollars don’t even waste your time
Very good food. And they're open late so perfect for grabbing a bite after a night out. Great prices and deals always going on.
I absolutely love, love, love, looove the Catfish Cafe.I called a little before 2:30AM this morning, Monday, April 19, 2021 and placed an order for catfish with mac and cheese and yams. First, the customer service was superb. The young lady who answered the phone and helped me was just so nice.Now on to the food which was just incredible. I hadn't been to the Catfish Cafe in a few years and I'm telling you that the food has gotten even better since the last time I was there (if that's even possible!). The mac and cheese was the bomb. The catfish was perfectly seasoned. The yams were perfectly cooked -- not too sweet, just right.One of the most important things in this review I'm writing is that even with me placing an order a little before 2:30AM (just a little before they were about to close), the food was still superb. As a customer calling in at 2:30AM, they treated me as if I had called at 2:30PM. The food was the same. The food wasn't end of the night tasting, meaning it's cold and poorly presented.The food was so amazingly delicious. I was so happy about the food, the customer service, and the friendliness and kindness of the staff. I even called them right after I left from picking up my food to tell them how happy I was.Thank you Catfish Cafe fam, you guys are amazing! And to the person reading this review, thank you for taking the time to read it all the way through. You won't be disappointed with the Catfish Cafe. Happy eating!
