Food was amazing! Had a bucket with snow crab, mussels, and prawns. The flavour was intense and tasty, and with the garlic noodles (which were phenomenal) it was pretty damn good! There was quite a lot of oil in the bucket but that’s just how it is I guess, can’t be too picky with these seafood buckets. Would 10/10 recommend for a cute family style meal with hearty food and will leave you feeling great (although needing to detox). Service was amazing too and made us feel very comfortable. We were initially a bit apprehensive because when we arrived the place was completely empty, but were very happy we stayed :-)
Update- It's no longer salty! I think extra hot just comes with more salt. Medium was perfectNo one is topping their seafood boil, respectfully. Their customer service is always caring and hospitable. I do wish their crab legs were consistently thicker. The capt Loui sauce has gotten a bit salty over time, but I prefer my sauce provided on the side. I enjoy getting combo B with sausage. Their garlic noodles are top tier.I enjoy their raw oysters and beverages. Recommend it
Wow, I've been to a few seafood boil spots and Cap't Loui by far is the best. The seafood is fresh and the cap't loui sauce is delicious, not overly salty like other places. I also had the cajun fries and garlic noodles, both best I've ever had. The drinks are really good as well. We'll definitely be coming back here for sure.
Fantastic food service and Wine...wine is the main show here. Great sommelier service by Al and food service by Oscar and great ambiencee : classy, subtle and peaceful.
Food is delicious. All staff are friendly .Restaurant is clean.
Food was decent...the Cap't Loui sauce is insanely salty...ill go back to try the other sauce. The cocktails are ok.
The food menu is short , they only have cod fry fish no other kind of fish it was close to the airport and i was hungry for anything , won't be visiting again .
I would give it four stars, but considering my mother's opinion, I've dropped it down to three. Got the snow crab and shrimp (no head) seafood boil combo (capt loui sauce, mild) with free cajun fries for just about $60. There's a better combo for the price, so you should check that out before you order. The boil was quite salty and oily, so you should try the lemon pepper sauce instead if you're not a very strong flavor type of person. I enjoyed it, but my mom didn't. The cajun fries - to put it in modern terms - were absolutely wack. I don't know what kind of seasonings they use, but it's too much. Made my mouth feel drier than the sahara desert, which is disappointing because how do you ruin a potato. Like it takes a lot of effort to ruin a potato for me. I may try again and update my review though because I have yet to try their garlic noodles which everyone says is good.
The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. We had lobster, snow crab, clams, mussels and shrimp. They were all delicious with the Cap't Loui seasoning. For the sides, we got garlic pasta and cajun fries which were delicious!! We also tried some raw oysters which were fresh.
Happy Hour was great ?? Fresh oysters, fried shrimp with lemon pepper fries!!
