The red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and the chocolate cake so delicious! The price is reasonable just love these

The Napoleons are to die for here. So flaky and fresh. The pineapple cake are so good. You can't go wrong with the apple turnovers. My favorite bakery by far.

We have tried pastries & desserts from Cannelle Patisserie many times since lots of our friends love them so much and visited their location in LIC. Finally, we had a chance to physically be here, which is their founding store in NYC.It's extremely crowded on a Sunday morning at 9am and there was a long line. The wait for an order wasn't too bad, but it's difficult to get a table. We got one Almond Croissant and one Spinach Danish with 2 cups of hot Latte from their various selection in the counter shelves. Both pastries were delicious as our expectations. Our favorites based on what we have tried in the past were the amazing Napoleon cake, which has addictive cream puff and delicate croissant. My friends recommended us to try their macaroons and we will plan to taste them next time.

Amazing tasting cakes!I have purchased cakes from here for years !Never had an issue. The one disappointing thing about the new remodeling is that there is no clear menu that gives you the cakes options with the flavors they have like they used to.

I just got back from ordering and it was at 7AM. Pretty early, assuming things are freshly baked as per usual. I’ve been to this place numerous times and it was adequate service, however as of recently that has all changed. I ordered a lemon tart, my favorite pastry, expecting yet another satisfactory experience. Long and behold, I arrive back home to dig in and the center of it is FROZEN. I’ve never had this experience at any bakery, and wish this doesn’t occur to anyone else.

I usually come here for some local quick on the go iced black coffee for $2.50. They only have one size available for iced drinks which seems to be small size. The price isn't bad as the bottled Starbucks cold coffee drinks at at $3.50 and above at the nearby Walgreens. You can definitely taste the quality in the price difference but for $2.50, it's not bad. They have two lines set up but usually the crowd utilizes one because the other line is for 1 item orders. Although I qualify for that cashier checkout, I rarely use it because not often do you see staff ready by that cashier. The staff is busy assisting customers with their orders. The lines get long often during the mornings as you'd expect where it can exceed past the door and lines up near the supermarket. I go between 12pm and 1 pm which I can say 4 out of the 5 times I do go, there are no lines. The staff is quick and friendly. Checkout is a breeze as there are multiple ways to pay whether cash, card or contact less options. The patisserie has found a prime location in which many locals seems to enjoy its presence whether it's for their morning routine or on holidays. Definitely stop by because they offer more than just coffee. They have many delicious selections to choose from such as croissants, sandwiches, cakes and pastry goods. As of present, mask is required, vaccinations are required to eat in and distances should be maintained.

Best bakery I have ever been to. The staff is great. The desserts are fabulous. The fresh baked bread is phenomenal. I usually eat an entire loaf of the rustic baguette after purchasing.

This is the best place in Queens. Everything is so fresh and tasty. Feels like you are in Paris.. They have one more location in Long Island City. If you haven't tried it yet, go as soon as it is on your way, you will not be sorry...

What kind of non proper timings they have mentioned at food it closes at 6pm n they closes at 5.40pm not correct.I went at 5.40pm n their door was closed. If they wanted to close at 5.40pm then they wouldn’t had mention closes at 6pm. They should had mention more early. My god..

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR. Upon my second visit here, I had the most dehumanizing experience ever. Yesterday, my aunt, little cousin, and I bought about $50-60 worth of goods from this place. I had come here once before with a friend and enjoyed the food, so I wanted to come back and help support a local business. I am a South Asian woman who wears a headscarf, and all the workers inside were clearly white. It was so interesting to see another white man being treated with so much enthusiasm, even though he was on the phone and not even paying attention to the workers. My family and I, on the other hand, were treated like second class citizens. All the while, we were wearing our masks, being cordial, and thanking all the workers for things as simple as holding the door for us. I went back to my car for about a minute, when I realized that we weren't given any spoons or forks for our desserts. I quickly got out and went back to ask for a spoon, and realizing that they had just closed, I knocked on the door. The man who held the door for us as we walked out earlier looked at me and made a crossing gesture with his arms, stating "WE'RE CLOSED". I found this quite absurd, as he just saw me walk out with my family about a minute ago. I had to shout "I just need a spoon". He looked towards his boss, and came up to me. He opened the door, and as I tried to open it, it was clear that he was forcing it closed. I said "I was just here, I just need a spoon". He said "My boss says we're closed". So I said "Can I speak to your boss?" He fully forced the door out of my grasp and closed it saying "No we're closed". There was no sorry, no consideration, and not a single ounce of decency I encountered when presenting such a simple request. All the lights were on inside and the workers that had helped me were there seeing this. As someone who understands the hardships experienced while working in the food industry, I can assure you that these workers and this boss do not care for their customers' best experiences. As a native Astorian, I'm ashamed to have such a disgusting business in such close proximity to me. I never felt more othered or dehumanized. Please avoid this business if you are a person of color. They will not respect you, nor will they care about you. If you're not a person of color, I encourage you to help your POC community members and avoid this place. I encourage you to find other local businesses to support instead. One's identity should not determine how they are treated. All the staff members at Canelle should be ashamed of themselves. Have fun building a business that is so clearly racist.
