I’ve lived in Astoria all my life and I can honestly say there’s no bakery as good and Nerwan’s. The standards that those women have for the freshness of their dessert is simply unbeatable!! Cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, brownies the best!! We are so lucky they chose Astoria to bless with their desserts!! Best bakery!
This is my first time placing an order with Cakes By Nerwan. For starters very professional and they did exactly what I wanted. These cupcakes were absolutely divine and the presentation was on point. I have finally found my go to place for specialty cakes. If you haven’t tried them yet you should. I am absolutely obsessed with this place. I discovered them during the pandemic when they had a cute little table outside of the shop selling a bunch of things, including cake jars which are truly a gift to this earth. But honestly I've been stopping by most Fridays ever since. Nerwan never misses. She's always putting up new things while also keeping the classics around. The banana pudding is better than Magnolia's. I know it sounds dubious, but trust me. I literally bring everyone I know into the shop and have had family members order custom cakes from her as well.Other than everything being unfailingly delicious, they have always been super COVID safe so you know they care about their customers. Razan (Nerwan's sister) usually works the front and knows my order before I get in there. Even if there's something new, she can guess what I'd like. That's how much they value their customers and I've seen them be the same with other regulars.If you're in the area and you don't stop by, you're really missing out. If you don't believe me, check their ig to see all the cool stuff they do! I really can't compliment them enough.
Oh my goodness! I stopped in randomly to get some treats for me and my friend. Rose cupcake! Amazing! Great flavor. Birthday chocolate cupcake, so tasty! The frosting on both were so light and tasty. I also got the rice pudding, love it. And I got a cucumber chia seed drink. Super refreshing. So happy I stopped in (:

Fantastic bakery close to downtown Queens! They serve blue print coffee which is delicious. We have been going here now for awhile and everything is always fresh and delicious.. staff is very friendly and helpful. On Saturdays they have a cart of extra pastry’s and baked goods not offered during week would highly recommend!!!
