Had a quick stopover in NYC on our back to UK. Food and wine were delicious and the staff very welcoming and friendly.

What a restaurant Wonderful service and the food was amazing We were staying at JFK hotel and wanted a final good meal before returning home and Bruno came up highly rated A fantastic restaurant with lovely staff, having been to be seen restaurant in Manhattan the previous night with very average food Bruno was a treat not to be missed.
A short Uber ride from most JFK hotels will bring you to Bruno’s in Howard Beach. The restaurant is very nicely appointed with a small bar upfront. As I was traveling alone, I opted to have drinks and dinner at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and attentive and made very well pored drinks. The menu had excellent selections. When my food arrived I was astonished at how large the portions were. The food was outstanding. They offer homemade deserts that are worth the indulgence! If you want a break from hotel food, I highly recommend Bruno’s for an outstanding meal!
The JFK eateries are very “MEH” and so, having a stop-over of 5 hours, we went to this great little restaurant - $25 and 15 minutes in a dirty yellow cab with a bad tempered driver and $15 inc tip spotless happy driver Uber back to Terminal 4. The owners and staff are soooooo nice, welcoming and they had lunch together after we had been served (suspect they do each day at the end of the lunchtime diners) inc the Mexican chef and waiter - looked a really happy lot round the table - such a vote of confidence in their own restaurant. We had their food and it was easy to see why the staff would be happy to eat there - delicious, quickly prepared and really fresh. Great fish as well as usual Italian menu. Great find and we returned to Terminal 4 pleased that we had made the effort. Security was quiet and we got through it in 15 mins. Recommended and will do it again if have a 3.5 hour stopover or more. Great food and service in a local family style Italian gem.

We met our son for dinner tonight while on a layover at JFK. Bruno’s welcomed us like family. The restaurant is well staffed, adorable and authentic. All three of our meals were prepared perfectly. I would highly recommend this sweet gem of a restaurant.
I spent a good time with my loved ones here . Very accommodating and accepting. Very comfortable place and homey vibe. Food is very good but not excellent, could use some improvement in better taste but doesn’t take away from how great this restaurant is. Nice staff and it gives me the feeling of a family owned business.
We happen to go to this location as it was recommended by friends. The restaurant itself was very nice and simple yet being elegant. We ordered a multiple entrees to get a good variety to try and appetizers. Everything came out in a timely manner and the wait staff was absolutely amazing. But unfortunately a couple of dishes we ordered were not prepared as well as they could have been. For the price being charged the insurance and quality should have been a little bit better. This is not a two digit dinner bill. It will surely be three digits even for a couple so the caliper food should have been a bit better in my opinion.
