Can’t believe this place has 4+ stars.1) bagels are simply not special; they are about the same as the bagels you get from some random deli2) they are extremely cheap on the cream cheese amount; even when asking for extra it’s still a very small amount3) BEC sucks: bacon is served fatty and only lightly cookedWeBagel is not as bad but close. The bagels in LIC just suck I guess…

Very slow service. 2 eggs and home fries 15 minutes with no ETA. Place is too hot. People are rude, running around. There is no 0 star forr this mess.-- I cancelled the order, the lady said the payment was void and it was still charged. I had to dispute the charge. As worst as it gets.

This location was recommended by a co-worker and on two occasions my order was completely raw. The first time I allowed them to fix the order, spoke to Wendy who was fantastic! She’s the most helpful and has great customer service! Overall I have to say they need to get rid of the cook! Whoever made this breakfast needs to be FIRED ASAP. I called my order in with Wendy who previously assured me that I wouldn’t have another issue like the first RAW experience. I specified well done/ CRISPY and I got what you see in the photo. I wasted $15 and I am not happy at all. I will not be ordering from here again and to think I was going to order lunch today for the office…ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE . If they got rid of the cook I’d consider coming back just because of WENDY!!

I have always liked my bagels here but we usually stick to simple bagels and cream cheese. And we don't live in the city so maybe we don't have the best judgment of nyc bagels lol. Seating is adequate. There are decent drink options, but not much if you're trying to reduce plastic use. Muffins ways look yummy...

Great bagels and sandwiches. Bagels are very good.. chewy, tender, flavorful on the inside with a crispy crust. They offer a nice variety of bagels and breakfast specials. The cafe gets busy in the mornings because if's a popular place to get NY style bagels in the neighborhood. Line moves quickly though. Friendly and attentive staff with fast customer service.

Got two bagels and both were so freaking good. Paid $12 which was less than I expected for how great a shop this is :)EC, wheat everything, veggie CCBEC, egg everything, sundried tomato CC

Bagel was fine, but the bacon they served me seemed old and the cream cheese tasted a bit sour. There was an acidity about the flavors that I didn't enjoy. I probably won't be returning.

This might be the first bagel shop where they charge for a dozen bagels to be sliced. I cannot agree more with other folks who had poor experience w the woman behind the counter. Just found out they got my order wrong as well. Ordered for scallion cream cheese, but got regular. Maybe it’s because the woman behind the counter has her airpods in and refuses to listen to anyone. Their bagels might be okay, but I never want to start my day ever seeing her again. Will not be coming back.

Great BEC!! Very fast service, all you could want in a bagel spots.

Bagels decent. Service is poor. Asian woman taking my order for my bagel kept asking what I wanted over and over again. All I asked for was a simple everything toasted with eggs and bacon. Out of spite, she didnt put my order in, and I ended up waiting for my bagel for 15 minutes after I paid for it. At least 7 people behind me got their food before I had to ask for my bagel. Lady at the cash register did apologize though. I assume she's an owner of the establishment, but seriously, the staff needs some work. Seems like I'm not the first to comment about this particular counter girl from the other reviews too. Never going back.
