This place was pretty cool, decent bar food at a good price and games. After 8 pm it starts getting packed, so please keep that in mind if you don't like crowded places.
The prices at Break Bar and Billiards is definitely worth it.A bucket of 6 beers is 25, which is rare to find.Food options were delicious and also large portions for $10.Pool table price is by the hour. I believe it 20 an hr.There staff was constantly walking around cleaning up and making sure you’re good. However, I only gave them 4 stars because as a huge fan of music.. their selections absolutely sucked. It was all white music that you listen too when you’re playing golf. The crowd was mixed, so I feel like their music selection should be a mixture of different genres.
Not a very welcoming spot to ppl of color. We walked straight to the bar and we sat for about 10 minutes before i could get a bartender's attention, keep in mind there were about 4-6 staff stationed behind the bar and were staring at us but would not assist us. One lady who seemed of Spanish decent came up to us and inquired what we would like. She was so sweet and kind. We ordered a lot of food which tasted great but the drinks were not as strong as i would have liked. I didn't want to complain because we ordered food and just wanted to eat and leave at this point. The music wasnt diverse and seemed to only cater to the ethnicity of the patrons. I consider myself well rounded and i will not be recommending this billiard to my family or friends.
If you want to go to a very spacious sports bar that not only includes drinks, food, and a full menu, but also GAMES GALORE, then Break is for you.Plenty of pool tables along with basketball nets, pingpong, and pinball machines. Finally, the bartenders are super friendly and if you don't see the game on TV, they'll be happy to change it for you.Take a break and go to Break.
Need more place like this! Especially in the city where everybody usually at home afterwork front of the computer, or on the phone.I have a little crew and our busy life we always find time for each other ,We love activity (board game ) travel ,sports etc. I find this place here on google so I told them when we have time let’s try. Today was the day! There is lot of things to do. Jenga (regular or giant ) have a little arcade, darts, ping-pong what I love it ,and lot of for billiard table. Opening 4pmtill 8pm it’s free can’t believe ! Drink all right, pretzels my favorite!.Our waitress was great always check up on time if we need something!See you soon, thanksfor the great service !
Where do I start? The drinks are pretty reasonably priced. Reminds me of Williamsburg but just a dollar or two more expensive. They have pool, ping pong tables, that table soccer game, giant connect four and a small one, giant Jenga blocks and small Jenga blocks. They have a lot of cool girls. My favorite is a Venezuelan girl that handles the pool tables. It's not her looks, it's her amazing personality. She's so sweet and always checks on you. Service is at A+. ?You must have a valid ID at the door.

Great atmosphere, especially during big games. Standard sports bar with pool tables and some arcade games to keep the non-sports fan busy! If you're looking for a place to watch a game in Astoria/LIC, look no further.
Good place to watch sports and some shots in! Selection of food is alright. Drinks not so much.
Unsafe environment and horrible employees!! I went to the Break Bar this past weekend with a group of friends. We were sober and sitting together at a table. My purse was right next to me the whole time, and while I was not looking at it for a split second, someone robbed me and stole it. I asked the hostess if it had been turned in, and then immediately went and informed security who told me they were going to have their manager pull the camera footage. After 15 minutes with no update, I approached them and they said they found nothing on their cameras, (which I later found out was a lie) and that I "shouldn't be at a bar if I didn't want this to happen" then they laughed in my face. Only when I informed them I was calling the police , did they agree to allow me to speak to their manager, who they claimed had already looked at the security footage. He then told me that he in fact did not look at the footage, and would under no circumstances. He gave me about 2 minutes of his time to address the situation, then excused himself. After 1 1/2 hours, as soon as the police arrived, he approached me with my missing purse that was clearly rummaged through. He told me that it was "turned in" but refused to give me any additional details. This was an extremely traumatic, unsafe, and overall horrible experience. I absolutely would not recommend ANYONE to go here.
