This place was so much better than I expected. I'm not gonna lie, looking at the pictures I wasn't expecting too much but I was definitely wrong. We got the beef and chicken saltenas and the silpancho. The chicken saltenas was more soupy and flavorful but the beef had a better texture. The silpancho was the highlight. The creamy slightly spicy green sauce it came with was delicious. The egg, meat and sauce combo was chefs kiss. Then the beets and tomato on top was a nice refresher. Would definitely reccomend.
First time trying saltena and now I am in love! Super tasty and fresh! We had the signature fried chicken sandwich and cilantro papatas, both were super yummy. The vibe here is chill, look forward to coming back!
Don't be underwhelmed by the outdoor seating. It's fine. Here it's all about the saltenas. Had my first ones here a week ago and they were unforgettable.I'm back for more. They are simply delicious. Describing the would take away they surprise. Two for about ten bucks. Wish more people were here.
Bolivian Llama Party is can’t miss cuisine!! I’ve visited this location many times after being introduced to it by my partner and the food is always IMMACULATE!Pick up your take out at the window or take a seat in the cozy covered outdoor dining area.BLP offers an amazing take on Bolivian classics like Sopa de Mani (peanut soup), Silpancho (bed of rice, boiled/sliced potatoes, thin breaded/fried steak, fried egg, avocado, beet slaw and amazingly flavorful mayo/cilantro based sauce) and the always popular Salteñas (think Empanada but liquidy/savory filled with a sweet crust). The green sauces they have with many of the plates/fry options is SOOO delicious, you may want to buy more just to take home!!Karla is very kind and helpful when ordering! If you’re like me who was unfamiliar with Bolivian food, please take a chance on BLP, you’ll be so glad you did!!
This is the spot if u want authentic spanish food, hell im Jamaican and im crazy about my Bolivian food. The saltanas are scrumptious, the rellanos de queso omg not to mention their famous chicharon sandwich.. 100% Yall, shout out to my boy Edwin for always hooking me out.. Ask for Edwin,,, he's the man......
Their food was impressive!! My first time having Bolivian food was great because of them!I really like the bread of saltena. It was well baked, with a thin crispy/ crunchy layer and soft inside that soaked in the soup. It was juicy and the filling was delicious. I personally don’t like beans but it combined well in it.I will say overall they do the great job in deep-frying stuff! The rellenos (fried smashed potato balls) were wonderful, and I recommend the cheese one. Fries were good too.But I vip… goes to the ice cream!!! I love love love the ?purple corn ice cream I got! The flavor was so good with all kinds of spices.
