We ordered appetizer and an entre and a drink. It took quite a bit just to get my drink and the appetizer. The waitress did not tell us anything regarding the food being delayed or anything, I had to ask her how much longer just for the appetizer. Overall the food and drink was good. Great music.
It’s good but it can be sooo much better to get those Five stars. Ordered wings and the tostones con ropa vieja. The tostones and ropa vieja were on point, but the wings are not house made they are from a bag of Tyson fried wings. Come on, you can do better than that.For the entrees we ordered Paella(which was perfect!), arroz chaufa (amazing!), Sea bass breaded with panko and coconut flakes (not crusted like it says in the menu, crusted and breaded is not the same thing) w/ shrimp on garlic sauce. Then again the sea bass was from a package from Dairyland,Cysco foods, or Baldor, it’s not made in-house. For what you pay they should make everything in-house.The staff it’s friendly and attentive, the drinks are good, the music was on point, bathroom was clean (the whole place was). So yeah, it’s a nice place to hang out and have drinks and a frozen bite.The frozen food just take away from what can be an amazing place. I will give it another chance and will try out more food items. I really hope they stay away from the frozen food, and make those place more original.
We came here on my birthday .I had never been here before and will definitely come back. Here is my report card for this restaurant.REPORT CARDEnvironment A+++=For our safety( re: COVID) we wanted to sit outside in the fresh air . We were a large group ( adults and children ) .Thankfully it was arranged for us by the manager ,.It was very comfortable ,attractive and clean.Meals A+++=Our meals were plentiful and and truly delicious! There was so much food that we had some to bring home. They also made sure that thechildren got their meals first .They served us some yummy deserts . Since it was my birthday ,they brought out one of them with a large lit candle. The kids enjoyed blowing it out.Drinks A+++= We all really enjoyed our drinks . I loved my Mojito ,.Had 2 of them .Since it was a Monday ,my drink was only $6 Yay!Service A+++The entire staff here was very, very friendly and efficient . .Here are just some of their names. Drinks were good, but that's all that was good. Had three different servers and not one of them got our food order correct. Oh and i really didn't like the fact that they automatically included 18%tip on the tab.
They have the best brunch and drinks! My fav days are Mojito Monday’s and Margarita Tuesday’s! Their music is great too!

Awesome staff. Fun times at Karaoke on a Monday night!! The Shrimp Monfongo Sliders were my favorite thing we tried! Whatever is in that sauce is amazing!!
If you're looking for a quiet place to have dinner, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for an energetic atmosphere with good drinks and great food, you'll probably enjoy Bocaito!I arrived around 7:30 on a Friday night and chose to sit at the bar rather than taking a table. The place was busy, but not crowded. By 8, when the live band (!) started up, the place was packed!I had the churrasco (strip steak) with a side salad and an FDNY Old Fashioned, which was an Old Fashioned infused with smoke (see picture).I ordered the steak medium and it was cooked exactly the way I like it. The meat was tender and their marinade infuses great flavor without disguising the taste of the meat. The Old Fashioned was tasty. Once it got busy, I would probably have ordered something else - I'm not really a fan of ordering drinks that take extra effort on the part of the bartender when they're busy.All in all, great atmosphere that was enhanced by live music, great food, and tasty drinks. I got out of there for $64.71 (including an 18% MANDATORY gratuity).
Very long wait for mediocre and cold food. Overpriced food for small quantities. Drinks are weak and over sweetened. The wait staff had a very mundane attitude. The only likable aspect was the outside seating area, other than that would not recommend.Especially with a variety of restaurants in the area.
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The Octopus Ceviche was amazing and the Mar Y Tierra Platter was delicious. We loved the skirt steak, butterflied shrimp ,calamari ,etc. . Service was well-timed and the food was amazingly delicious .The waitress was friendly, drinks were affordable." We will definitely be returning to try more dishes and drinks .
