My first time at Belo's. New to the neighborhood and exploring places in Sunnyside. Love the food, ambience, and spicy jalapeño margaritas with Tajin salt on the rim that Isabelle fixed. Loved the magazine salsa and Yucca chips. Yucca is underrated as Ryan says :)Loved the warm welcome, and the energy from staff members Isabelle, Abraham, and Ryan. Looking forward to seeing them more!
Had the most romantic dining experience ever. Upon visiting Queens from DC to see my significant other, I Google searched bars that were open up very late. This one appears to me as the most interesting. So I took my precious darling on a dinner date after he got off work. It was our first visit here ever, regardless of him being a Queen's boy. Since he's mostly pescatarian, we both decided on dishes that were suitable for him. I got the veggie pasta while he got the fish curry. For appetizers we both got fried cheese. We were absolutely both satisfied with our food! Our server was a very lively young lady who was so kind and friendly. Cheers!
Great staff, ambiance and delicious food! A friend recommended this place after we chatted about cheese bread. If you’re a cheese bread fanatic the sliders are a MUST try!I originally wanted salmon but they were out of it so I opted for linguine with chicken and my bf got the pernil steak— So good.We also had the coconut crème brûlée…YUMCan’t wait to go back and try more from the menu!
Great food and service, all the staff was very friendly.The food was excellent, the cheese bread especially.They give a big discount if you pay cash, but they also take cards.Note that they don't serve liquor, but they have a good selection of beers.
Found this gem in our neighborhood. What a great first experience, from the service to the food. The staff is so energetic here and the vibe amazing. Our bartender Raul was the best. Highly recommend this place to everyone and also the pernil was ?????. My wife and I will definitely be making this one of our regular spots. Travis & Pauline, Sunnyside.
I must start off by saying the staff here treats you like family. You are greeted as soon as you enter the space. I enjoy the decor which is unique and colorful... drinks are excellent and the food is even better. Had a lovely Wednesday night here! I recommend to bring your family and friends!
Had the pernil and friend had the steak entree. Food was excellent. Place was bigger inside than expected as well. I will be back again soon!Wine cocktails only at the moment, but assume they are in process of getting their liquor license. Nice draft beer list.
Unbelievable! Second time eating here. First time we dined in this time ordered out.First visit I had the stuffed burger, wife had beef stroganoff both were really good. Fresh, quality ingredients and you can tell.Delivered I got the crispy chicken sandwich and when I tell you it’s the best one I’ve ever ate and I love crispy chicken it really is. How they fry it is unreal. The ingredients all compliment one another the sauce was great spicy mayo , avocado was so fresh like perfectly ripe and the micro greens on top added a lot to it over all .My wife got the polenta which she really enjoyed! Wasn’t too truffled and was a big portion.Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant and Alcove because this husband and wife duo know how to source top notch ingredients and cook them like no other!
This place is amazing, cozy and perfect. Owners are amazing people, really bringing culture/vibes and good food into the neighborhood. The best food around here hands down. Period.
