Should have $$$ for price.One Scoop $5.00Two Scoops $8.00Then my son hit the problem on the head. Rainbow Ice did not have distinctive flavors for each color of ice. Usually Red is cherry, white is lemon and blue is blue. But this rainbow was one flavor no matter if you ate one color at a time or all mixed up.Bella’s is mo money AND mo problems.
My son loved the roasted marshmallow ice cream. He said it was a golden marshmallow, just perfect.
I was a customer at Pesso's for years.I have had gelato all over the world! It used to be fantastic. But the new owners have more limited flavors and flavors are water down. Gelato has a richer taste. But the new owners water it down somehow. It is not even the best in the neighborhood any more. Much less best of the borough like it used to be. Maybe townies don't know the difference but aficionados like myself do!
Family was craving Italian gelato today so I decided to take a ride to Bella’s. Wanted to buy three pints so the college girls behind the counter (they were great) let me sample some. The gelato tasted good (was I in Rome?) and I decided to buy almond, pistachio and cannoli. Had no change and a $50 bill and evidently they don’t take anything over a $20. I like to pay in cash. One of the girls spoke to the owner and he was kind enough to accept my $50 bill. Happily rode home with gelato for the family. ?
I've been coming to pesso's for a few years now when they open for the season.....their range of flavors is always amazing and there's sure to be a flavor or two for everyone. My favorite flavors are the fruity ones....tried grapefruit, pink lemonade, vanilla chip, and sour apple yesterday. The prices as of April 2022 are $5 for 1 scoop, $8 for 2 scoops. Since I don't come here often....decided to go for the two scoops. Was a little disappointed that mine was not filled all the way and the second (top) scoop seemed smaller than the first (bottom) scoop. The flavors are strong and very delicious. The Italian ice does melt relatively fast. Prices have gone up since 2022 (as have everything else) and it will be a nice treat here and there.....just hope if they raise the prices, both or all scoops should be equal in size, not one much smaller than the other.

make options on your ordering system to have different flavors in one cup. Stopped ordering from here because they don't offer this. Who wants to eat out of separate cups just to have to different flavors. Easy solution is to just have the online ordering system with some most popular combos as a choice. Im sure they know what the customers like and if not make a educated guess and modify it as see fit. but to make customers buy multiple cups to simply mix 2 flavors is the business being greedy.
Best coffee gelato I've ever tasted! Looking forward to their Spring reopening in March!
