First timer here and I tried it because my usual place was closed and I was drawn by the reviews and I must say....very good! I got the diri kole and griot. Not salty, dry or tasteless. Just perfect. I am very happy and yeah, I'll be back. I just pray the card machine will be up and running ;)add: To top it off I must say the service was one of the best I've received in a Haitian establishment so, compliments, compliments.

Bebe Fritay workers are SLOPPY. They don’t use gloves. Their dirty fingers are all over food. Please if you go there, pay close attention.

I am not from NYC not to mention the area. My colleague had a death in her family and I was told they were of Haitian decent. I called around to see if anyone could do family style and deliver. No one was willing to help me until I called Bebe Fritay. The women that runs the restaurant spent a good bit of time explaining the cuisine to me and making suggestions that were in my budget. I had to delay the delivery time twice, as the family was out looking at funeral homes. She was happy to accommodate. I have heard nothing but raving reviews of the food from my colleague and her family. Thank you for making this tragic event of circumstances a positive experience. Food heals the soul. I highly recommend that you try this hidden jewel.

The food was amazing, and I do not use that word lightly. Mezanmiiii

Had some stewed veggies with white rice and black bean stew. It was tasty. Will go again for some fritay

Haitian Food. Check 'em out. There's no parking lot so you have to find parking on the street. The establishment is located on the corner. Nice colors on the sign.

I called and placed an order for fritay over the phone. When we got there, they said after 1 hour the order is canceled. It was about 36 minutes when we arrived. Not understanding how that makes sense and why we now had to wait. A lady from the back then comes out to say after 30 minutes the order is canceled. I guess she needed us to fit into the timeframe to justify this excuse. Not sure where the food went and why we now had to wait allegedly it was given to someone else who walked in and took it 6 minutes before we arrived. We left to take our business elsewhere. I will no longer reinforce the bad behavior of Haitian businesses that feel like since you're there you'll just take whatever. If you don't live around the block or in their basement don't order. Your food will be gone before you arrive.

Their price are higher than other Haitian restaurant, and food is not that good. They make you pay for pikliz and taxes.
