Came here for the lunch special and was pleasantly surprised with the Tuna poke bowl for under $14! The only reason the place lost a start was because they forgot our appetizer and brought it in a to go bag at the end of the meal.

Salty chicken wingsOver fried calamariThe sushi was goodThe pork gyoza was okayLime margarita very sourIt taste like a sour lemonade

We decided to get the boneless crispy duck and sake-miso salmon for dinner. Both dishes were 18.95.The crispy duck was actually very delicious with a good fat to meat ratio. The long island style sauce was also extremely flavorful and was a great dipping sauce for the broccoli. The salmon was a pass as it was over cooked and pretty dry.

I really like this place. Delicious food, love their bird nest roll. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Tuti is the best, she always does a great job helping and taking care of her customers!

Great food. Went in for sushi but ended getting more. Ask for sushi roll without rice for those looking for keto or low carb option.

So for starters, I’ve personally NEVER had a problem with this restaurant until a few months ago. My friend and I decided to eat there as regular costumers, and as we ordered our food we were given extra food that we have NOT ordered. We told our waitress this and she responded back with “Oh then just eat it free food!” and laughed assuming it was free since she never apologized or took it back to the kitchen and even told us it was free we ate it. We finally got our bill and questioned our waitress as to why they charged us the extra food, and she stated that because we ate it we must pay for it, even after we corrected her and told her we did not order it. So I gave in my card, in which they came back and told me their card machine was broken! I didn’t have cash on me that time and most PROFESSIONAL restaurants would usually give a free meal or a DISCOUNTED price because it was THEIR fault that their machine broke and DID NOT notify the costumers before hand. At the time I didn’t carry much cash, so what did they tell me to do? They screamed at me to RUN to the bank and get money. And I quote “THE CHASE BANK IS RIGHT AHEAD AND CROSS THE STREET SO GET YOUR MONEY AND PAY THE FOOD” so UNPROFESSIONAL!!! As a regular for 3 years this restaurant has disappointed me with their TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! And I hope the owner sees this review and look at the other reviews about their terrible service so they know to choose BETTER SERVERS WITH A BETTER ATTITUDE!!! Please choose more professional workers instead of rude ones. Thank you. So while their food may be good they lack SERIOUS RESPECT FOR THEIR COSTUMERS. Bambooyah in FOREST HILLS have better service and better quality food.

Bamboo Ya on Queens Blvd is always my favorite Japanese place to go. Bamboo Ya have two locations, personally I prefer go to the Queens Blvd than other 9ne on Austin Street. Bamboo Ya provide good food with reasonable prices. Nowadays everywhere rise their prices, but Bamboo Ya on Queens Blvd still offering decent prices for customers.

Workers are rude and speak to guests with an attitude. I had asked for a delivery no more than 2.0 miles or 5-10 minutes away as they had mentioned and they refused my service! They told me to call the Forest Hills location which is the same distance from my location and they had delivered my order. The forest hills location has better customer service.

Fun and festive dinner, great service.
