We were so happy to find this great little bagel shop and deli. We were visiting the area in July 2022 and were looking for a place for a quick breakfast bite. It was a great based on other reviews and even better when we left the hotel and realized it was only a three minute walk away. The bagels were the best! We also grabbed a few take-out sandwiches to have for our Citi Field tailgate later that day, and we went back the next morning. Also brought a dozen bagels home. Very nice, hard-working staff. There are a few tables inside if you want to order at the counter and sit inside (we did), but the Bagel Oasis did a lot of take-out too. Busy place and you would not be disappointed if you want a breakfast sandwich, bagel and cream cheese or a quick lunch. I would go out of my way next time I am in this NY area to grab a bagel or 12!
Pretty solid BEC and SEC - I got both recently on a whole wheat wrap respectively, added a hash brown patty. They didn’t skimp out. The wrap itself was a bit small, probably a 10 inch wrap but still very filling. The staff was super accommodating with helping me bring the food outside. I was walking a dog when hunger struck.
This is the only place to go.Don't bother with any other bagel place.Bagel Oasis is super awesome, everything is so fresh & quite delicious.We always go there, especially like 2 in the morning.
Consistently good, been coming here for over a decade. Sliced nova and cream cheese is my go to on everything bagel. They’re generous with the cream cheese and nova
Just walked out after being ignored for 10 minutes. Yes they were working but it doesn't take much to say hello, be right with you. All I got was stares as if I was doing something wrong. I used to work here back in the early 2000s and everything was fresh, chicken salad was to die for and Mike the owner had a clear grasp on things. After he sold I continued to he a loyal patron, even after the rat incident. I can forgive a rodent in the food case but not incredibly poor customer service.. while both are avoidable, the rats don't understand they're doing something wrong.
Charged me three times for the same order as they could not get their iPad at checkout to work. Disputed it with my credit card company yet they disputed it back and I never received my appropriate refund. Be careful these people are frauds
Their sandwiches and bagels are delicious. You gotta know what you want to order or else you might end you with a sad sandwich. Employees don't recommend or ask to add ingredients to make a better sandwich.
The new night crew is ridiculous. Absolutely horrible customer service. They sat talking about how they love to get high instead of servicing me. Only after I got there attention did they decide to service me. I het the same thing almost every time. This place is extremely over priced. I asked for a bagel toasted with nothing in it. I was charged money for the toast. Absolutely ridiculous. The everything bagels don't have much on them. Not returning. Horrible horrific experience every night
Overlook the exterior as they are sticking to their roots, just making good bagels! which they do. I’ve tried the other “well reviewed” places and these bagels are still the best to me, they also last longer. Some other places, by day 2, the bagels harden up and don’t taste that great. These bagels still taste awesome on day 2 and day 3. There is a nice fluffiness and chew with them.
Great Bagel place. Service is ALWAYS friendly, fast and efficient. I don't think they've ever messed up my order in over 10 years. I just wish they used Boars Head Cold Cuts. Their meat tastes very processed
