We have always loved this spot! Bring your own drink, share plates, grab your own seafood and everything they cook is amazing. You can’t go wrong with the grilled octopus, scallops, calamari, salad and there bread!
This is such a popular place! There is always a line of people picking the fresh seafood, describing what cooking methods they want for the seafood, and waiting to enjoy the delicious food. It has lots of varieties of fish, shrimp, oyster, crab, even appetizers and deserts. The price is so reasonable. I would rate it one of the best places to enjoy seafood in NY.
Will always be one of my Top favorite eats in all New York. Amazing staff, that i now considered friends, food is beyond delicious and location is prime. Out door sitting is great with some sunny tables and some shade ones. Will always be back.
The most unorganized place I've ever eaten in NYC.No host greets you to inform you on how to order.The waiters are all over the place always asking what you orderedThere is no one to inform you if a table is ready for you. So if you don't speak up they will sit someone else down.Once we sat down we were notified that there were no alcoholic drinks. You must bring your own.Only street parkingFood was not that greatThe dish with the clams had a small hair and once we told the waiter we were told they couldn't do anything about it.

Classic no frills neighborhood gem for seafood. You pick out your fish and you tell them grill or fried. They will do either option to perfection. Lots of Greek sides to choose from, and the salad is excellent. Great outdoor space, as well. For the Egyptian version head to Abuqir on Steinway!
Absolutely loved the variety, quality, and taste. Loved the vibe (minus lack of personal space- there isn’t any inside). Can’t wait to take more friends and family here. Biggest disappointment was order wait time- while we were the first to place our order, we were the last on our table to receive our food- it took 1.5 hrs, and by then we were full snacking on our friends dishes.
Food is excellent it's a bit chaotic but be patient the food is worth it. go straight to the back pick out your food and let them weigh it. Tell them how you want it grilled or fried. Definitely get grilled ? Get salad and potatoes delicious! They're a byob walk with plenty of booze!!
We came here on a Friday night. The place was chaos. There is no correlation between the seafood you put in a bag to what appears on your table 2 hours later. We were repeatedly shortchanged with smaller count, cheaper fish, smaller portions. Vasily the owners son upsold us on an oven baked spicy preparation that never arrived. If you're not in the wholesale seafood business you'd have no idea how much you're being skimmed. This place is a scam through and through.
