Great halal Indonesian food spot in a nice tight spot. Waitress was nice the stores interior is very bright and very pleasing with tunes and with Indonesian art. I got the Teriyaki Chicken with fried Rice Seaweed salad and Java Fried Noodles the Java fried noodles with the fried rice puffs really go hand to hand the Seaweed salad tasted fresh and Teriyaki chicken isn’t that bad overall 9/10 just don’t go during lunch time it’s sometimes hard to get a spot.
Good sausage fried rice, not worth the price.Chicken satay wasn't very tasty. Highly overrated in the reviews.
Nice people and nice food.
First time having Indonesian food and did not regret! The food was delicious, flavorful, and serving sizes were plentiful. Service was great, friendly people as well. Every dish was amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop by here for a great meal, highly recommend.
An authentic 100% halal Indonesian spot! Their chicken satay glazed with peanut sauce was phenomenal with a side of seaweed salad. The remdanng, soto ayam and java fried noodles were a staple at this location. Don’t forget the side dish of spicy sambal to tune your comfort level of spice. I enjoyed the seaweed salad but i had to try the Indo authentic dishes. The sate Ayam was sweet of course I had to dip mine in spicy sambal. I absolutely loved The nasi rendang which had chunks of juicy, shredded beef battered in pepper and stewed overnight. The pickled cucumbers on the side sure added flavor! That krupuk was so crunchy I could’ve punched on an entire plate. The soto ayam and bihun goreng jawa were chef recommended. It’s a must try! Don’t forget the Thai iced tea and coffee!
Friendly owner and staffs, the foods come really fast. I ordered 3 menus, batagor, bakso campur and ayam penyet with coconut rice (nasi uduk). Overall ayam penyet is my favorite, the taste is really authentic, reminds me to the one that I always get in Indonesia. However the batagor's peanut sauce is a little bit off and bakso campur also too bland for my taste.
It's a small cozy place! The customer service was good! The food was really good, specially the tamarind soup! I really want to go there again specially for the soup! The price was ok too!!
Great food for a great price ?
Staff was friendly and the food was delicious! Due to Covid-19, we ate outside which was nice. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to substitute the rice with coconut rice as they ran out of coconut rice and also, we were not given any krupuk with the meals :/ nevertheless, it was delicious Indonesian food and definitely worth a try!
I grew up in Indonesia and now living in upstate New York - so I am always want to eat Authentic Indonesian food, beverage and all those emping chips. We drove almost 2 hours to Asian Taste 86 and what a treat! The foods and desserts are delicious, service is fast, the staff are so friendly, my family love the food!
