The customer service is horrible at this franchise. Rude and lazy waiters and waitresses that have to be told how to do their jobs. I came at the 30 minutes time and it was ready at 20 minutes, yet the waiter behind the bar said it was not ready with an attitude. I had to tell him that it can’t be with the time. He goes in the back to actually check with an attitude and my food was right by the bar in a bag waiting. Incompetent and lazy!
Steak was awful. The waitress did not explain the new menu. As a result we ordered completely wrong and asked how much a side salad was and waitress said if I bought a meal it's $1.99. She charged me 6.99 and an extra dollar to put onions on the salad. Of course she was totally wrong. The food was very poor and I will never go back. The manager was very nice and corrected the bill.
My group of 3 were the only one's waiting last Saturday night. But there was open tables and we still had to wait. The hostess told me they are under staffed and the kitchen was back logged. Then service was slow. It will be a while before I go back to the Bayside Applebees.
We waiting 30-45 minutes to be served and it wasn’t even busy. Waiters were just standing around laughing and giggling. When we were finally served the food was cold. Don’t come here people it’s a waste. The worst experience.
Food was good and customer service was even better! Should have taken down our server's name (served us on Friday night; booth seat before bathroom :) so that he may be recognized for his hard work and great attitude!! Will return.
When I don't know what to eat I go here. Its usually not crowded in the day. Food usually salty here, but sometime I craves salty food. Easy parking is the biggest reason I go there. Not sure why they don't offer New York Steak here, maybe because we are in New York? I used to order New York Steak outside New York Applebee's.
The only thing I have to gripe about is the fact I could not make the order online. Apparently something was wrong and they were having trouble w mobile orders. I ordered on phone tho and it worked out. I got the whiskey burger w fries and it hit the spot. I usually don't like apple bees fries but these were different. Light and crisp and fresh. They were perfect. The burger also was made well. Was a perfect lunch glad I ordered it. Was just what I wanted. Will Def be getting this again

Visited a few weeks ago when the weather was nice.. my party was vccinated but wanted to sit outside and the wait staff must have been high or smoking something because the order process was something out of this world. There were 4 people at my table and after saying just one order the waitress was about to walk away and then asked if we were done.. like NO there's 4 people here you would think some common sense would say that were all eating not just one of us.. so we continued ordering and again she did the same thing again. We should have left then. It took forever to get our drinks. Over an hour to get our food but no silverware to eat it with and by the time she decided to bring it the food was now cold, the orders were also wrong and not even cooked properly. Then we asked for the check and the waitress gave us the wrong one.. waited a good 20 mins for the right one.. complete disasters! Seems like there hiring anyone that wants a job. My toddler can definitely do better.
In our group we had three adults and four children. We decided to dine outside since it was a nice night. After we were seated it took 10 minutes to get a menu and after we received the menu it took another 15 minutes for the waitress to come back out to take our drink order. We asked the waitress to split the bill between two of the adults and she agreed, it never happened. We also ask for the food we ordered to not come with salsa or tomatoes due to a very severe food allergy one of the adults had. All the burgers had tomatoes on them. After we received our food for being there for more than 30 minutes, we didn't end up seeing our waitress again for another 20 minutes. This is one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant and I don't plan on going back.
