I do not recommend this property on the basis of their poor ethical and customer services. I purchased a room for Governors ball for this property. I was not able to fly in time for my check in date, I called the front desk 2 times to let them know that I was not able to check in to hold my room as it is a non refundable. When I attempted to check in around 7pm, I called the property and was advised by front desk agent Quincy that they had a group in house and that they sold out and my room was no longer available. Yes... I called 2 times to let them know to hold my room as it was paid for as I was charged months prior. I was left on the street of New York city without a room to stay in and all I was told by Quincy was call back tomorrow to speak with my manager. We all know that they should have walked me to a nearby property as this was a default overbooking on their end but they refuse to do anything for me. This poor ethical practice and now they refuse to even refund me my money.
Usually I like aloft hotels. Their concept, rooms, design. All is really great. However, with this specific one my experience was not good. I called them to ask for shuttle and was put on hold. Waited 10 minutes then hang up. Then I called again and was put on hold right away again. After another 15 min someone finally answered. I was told to wait for the shuttle which would come and pick me up. It took them 35 to do so, although the airport is just 5 minutes away. Overall over an hour since I called until I was able to get to the hotel. I could literally walk there much faster. And the worst part, they did not even apologized. The stuff was very unpleasant and rude.
Very comfortable, quiet; modern. Super convenient to LGA. Within 5-10 min all terminals. Would stay here again. Elevator says Level 2 for airport shuttle but it’s actually Level 1.
Stayed here because I had a very early flight scheduled. They had a noisy DJ/party in the lobby, which fine, ok, but I couldn't hear the person at the check in desk over it. I could also hear the music in my room, so I had to go back down to the noisy lobby and get it switched. Walls are paper thin, I could hear people going to their rooms through the night and 4am alarms through the walls.
Awesome front desk. Awesome bartender. Good food. Smiling faces. Comfy bed. Netflix on the tv. Great price. Good shuttle. As an airline worker, staying in hotels is 50% of my life. This is a great hotel. I always look forward to my stays.
Stayed in room 723 in Feb 2022. Quite loud intermittent noise came through the wall off and on all night, sounded like it was mechanical or some sort of drilling. It was too late to move to another room but it disrupted my sleep and I was quite disappointed.
Honestly no complaints here! We opted to do the park and fly option and left our car at the hotel while we travelled. The room (and the hotel as a whole) was very modern looking and well laid out. The bed was incredibly comfortable and my husband and I got a great night's sleep. The airport shuttle was reliable and on time- not to mention about 5 minutes from the terminals.My only complaint is that the parking lot was a bit small and full, and it took us a bit to find a spot. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.
Great place to stay. In the Bronx where I'm from we had a lead problem, which was hazardous, so nycha relocated me and my brother to this hotel in queens, the staff made sure our stay was good, I'd recommend this place for folks visiting for a few days.
This location is clean with the rooms a standard look for an Aloft property. The checkin process was fast and efficient. I did have the opportunity to eat at the downstairs restaurant. They have a simple menu with pasta and burgers. The hotel runs on the half hour and hour. You can walk to the hotel if need be. My stay was great and I would not hesitate to stay here again.
My family arrived weary and tired after a very long travel day only to discover I'd made an error and booked the following day instead of our arrival day. The hotel was sold out, but with some creativity Lisa at the front desk was able to save the day. Thank Lisa.The rooms are great, clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Thank you Aloft staff for making our stay a good one.
