came here last night for the first time and absolutely loved the vibes! i live in brooklyn and my two best friends live in astoria, and i suggested we check out albatross together. so glad that we did!skip was such a friendly bartender, and i just really loved the overall vibes of the guys that were hanging out here. so unpretentious, very chill and laidback, and genuine! unlike other gayborhoods in the city *cough* HELLS KITCHEN *cough*can't wait to come back the next time around :)
I stopped in for a quick drink ?. Didn’t know it was a “gay” bar. Good service. Enjoyed the stay. Cheers,No I can’t suggest anything. But good being there once
This bar is amazing! Skip makes the best drinks! Avant Garbage is the most talented drag queen I’ve ever seen! Definitely coming back!
Albatross is the BEST!!! Amazing bar with fabulous and friendly bartenders to everyone and anyone!!! Every night of the week there’s something planned for your entertainment. Game nights, drag performers, trivia nights, karaoke etc!!! Visit ASAP!!!
Love this place!!! Close to home and everyone is so friendly!!
It’s Queens so remember the golden rule: it doesn’t matter what he touches so long as he can’t pronounce it properly
This bar is amazing! It's so fun! Literally the first time I did karaoke and it was one the best times ever. I will be coming back. Anyone is welcome here!!!! Great times, great experiences here
Best karaoke in all of Queens, a legendary borough for drag.
I was online for the bathroom and the ones that became vacant first was the one up the few steps and after watching other people use it the whole night I had assumed everyone was allowed to. There was a huge mess however walking into it. Not wanting to leave it for someone else to walk into I decided to clean it which I guess took some time because before I could come back out the drag Queen performing made nasty remarks about me being in the bathroom for so long followed up by more remarks by the person on stage when I did exit the bathroom. I am disappointed because I thought this was supposed to be a place of inclusion and kindness.
This bar is an iconic neighborhood bar. Lately the servide quality has gone down since bartenders do not care to serve people who are outside because they are unvaccinated. I left without tipping because the bartender Skipper was not worthy of a service tip since he gave my table no attention whatsoever. Very bad. service
