I liked my delivery. Chicken tandoori is better then in other places I tryed. And Goan curry fish is delicious!
i've had both a la carte and buffet service here. I don't know if the buffet is offered anymore but they have lunch specials now which are affordable. As for the food, I would say the curries here are great. I had butter chicken recently and it was not too sweet or tasting of tomato, but had good spice and was creamy. They put lot of pieces of chicken too. The Chicken 65 was really good and was a big portion. The tandoori chicken was tender and juicy, both white and dark meat, and had a great color. The biryani here is slow cooked and Pakistani-style and also tasted good, though I have had better. Overall, I would say the food here at Agra Palace is the most consistent in the Forest Hills-Kew Gardens area and very good value for your money. Nothing is too expensive and you have dishes from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh rather than just chicken tikka masalas and lamb vindaloos. The restaurant is huge and well maintained, very clean as well with attentive waiters. It is also used as a catering and wedding hall amongst the Indian and Bengali community and for good reason.
Did my sisters nikkah here on the lower floor. Set up was very nicely done. Staff were super helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. Owner is really nice. And food was amazing. Thank you.
This place was pretty disappointing. Two major problems, one - Their Tikka Masala ? wow, so bland! I swear they gave me butter chicken instead - and I used to like and order their food too in 2020, before they stopped delivery in my neighborhood. So it was disappointing that they altered the recipe for whatever reasons. Their balti was also pretty different from what I've experienced, which it was kind of cinnamony? Not the best at flavor profiling though, so don't quote me.Secondly, I dined at the restaurant, which ended up being a bit weird as it's a party hall and was completely empty, and just in general the vibe was awkward, but it's fine - the issue was that I had also got rice with meal.. which was topped with fried onions. Odd, but fine - but when I asked to take the rest of the meal home : They didn't pack the leftover rice ? which there was a lot of...To note something good though! Their samosas, and especially the spring rolls, were exceptional good.
It is a good place to throw it a birthday party or any other parties in general but wedding is kinda difficult for this place. The staff are good there and most of them are bengali. There is a severe lack of bathrooms in this place which can be a problem if mamy people had to go. The food served there was nice but nothing special. So far 4 star for now I guess.
Very kind employees and the food is very good.
Ordered take out from Agra last night: two vegetarian entrees, samosas, and naan. While service was quick and friendly, food was very greasy and tasteless. Will not order from them again.
Ordered from these guys again tonight and they never disappoint. Everything was so delicious and delivered super quick. So happy they are in the neighborhood.
Good convenient location. Spacious hall. I go there again and again for their Paprichat, chicken jhaal fry, yammi yammi tikka masala and Tawamix.
Big space and for the price unbeatable service and food
