Sorry to rate only 3 star as such a good fish you do not serve with plastic fork & knife. The food quality , salad very good, service good. Fish was fresh and cooked delicious.
I was taken to this place by locals. I am from CA and had no idea. They (New Yorkers) recommended highly. There was no menu in front or anywhere I could see, so I had no idea how to order or what to order. They ordered the foods for me. There were fresh fish displayed and they chose the fish, the way to be cooked and everything. They said the fish would be awesome. we had bunch of "Fried" fish, scalps, shrimps, that sort, pretty good. Also they ordered salad, some type of Eggplant (don't know the name), and Hummus (?) kind of dipping with the special yummy bread. I like fresh fish (sashimi kind) so those fried fish was too greasy for me, but they were good. They also ordered "blackened" fish (again, don't know the name...) and they were my favorite. I did not thoroughly checked the price but and I did not pay for them (their treats), so I am not sure, but thought were pretty pricey. And nobody spoke English...had hard time communicating.
Fresh seafood. Pick what you want, specify how you want it cooked (steamed, charred, fried, etc) and it arrives magically on your table. 2 guys and 1 gal tore through 2 fish, grilled shrimp, 1 pita each, fried calamari, salad, eggplant together. We loved the fish with the tomatoes and onions cooked underneath, soaking up all the flavor. Eggplant, the salad, and the calamari were all incredible and shouldn’t be missed! Don’t forget to get a bottle of pomegranate, peach etc flavored soda too- I unfortunately can’t remember the brand name but I think it started with an L. I believe it’s basically an Egyptian soda. 10/10 would return from CA for this
Very fresh seafood, prepared Egyptian style. Definitely recommend!Ask for chef recommendation on grilled or fried style for preparation.
The best seafood I’ve ever had, since I moved to the states in 2017, very tasty, delicious, clean, wry fresh and the stuff is very very friendly, first two pics are my favorite tajin shrimp and Calamari, and try also the huge shrimp in the second pic.VERY RECOMMENDED!!!
My boyfriend and I went for Iftar and the staff was very friendly. We got there 30mins before we broke fast and the staff made sure the food came out just in time. Fish was excellent. Oh! and they gave us 2 dates each . Thank you!
The freshest seafood you’ll ever eat. Officially been put on to Egyptian flavors!Straight from ice to your plate in minutes. Seasonings went crazy - left me wishing that I ordered more food. Don’t sleep on the sides, get that baba ghanoush, and the eggplant with tomato sauce - eat it with that bread situation they give you in the beginning - you’ll have zero regrets.Owner is this amazing, fun jovial dude. The whole spot is small and intimate.

My beautiful girlfriend took me here to celebrate my birthday. The owner and his staff made us feel like family. I would highly recommend this place. He has some of the freshest seafood I have ever had. The ingredients are all fresh.
Excellent food and generous staff. everything is so simple yet clean and tasty. If I lived here I'd make it my usual hangout.
