101 Deli never disappoints..I’ve been going here since I was a kid and NO OTHER DELI makes a hero like 101! Their freshly baked bread is the best!!

They have a wide variety of salads and prepared dishes. We especially like the bread that the hero sandwiches are made with. The staff was friendly and polite.

This deli /restaurant is a staple in Far Rockaway community. Always fresh bread and the best sandwiches hands down. You can call it a hero, hoagie, sammich, or sub it don't matter, they are delicious! You can also get salads & various deli items hot and cold.Here's a sandwich from the past. Food is good, however, Bacon is always over cooked, it's served crumbled up on sandwiches, I guess from re-frying.....I sometimes feel like I'm in Manhattan because the prices are so high. I think they forgot which community are in. I believe they would make more sales if they would consider that.
My order was messed up twice, when my girlfriend went the third time to ask for money back, the owner was very rude, disrespectful and yelled at her. Even threatened to call the cops. He's a loser and prays on women. Food is usually good there but I'll never go back there again.✌
Best sandwiches on the beach! Been coming here for over 20 years and not much has changed - consistently good food.
