Walked in only customer other then two men sitting at a table … waited 10 minutes before I saw an employee, actually was going to leave.. asked for 2 sandwiches.. out of chicken … so went with sandwich with cutlet instead… um not a cutlet three chicken tenders a little lettuce and tomato Mayo 8:49$?… deli case nearly empty ,whole entire place needs a cleaning , greasy spotted menu on counter amongst lots of loose papers they handle money with gloves they made my sandwich with .. hopefully they change before next customer. Come on you’re a deli and you didn’t have any tomatoes sliced before lunch? With three employees? So disappointed, was looking for a good deli close by! Hope they clean up before health inspectors come! Great location , if properly handled could be thriving business…
Mine and my coworkers hump day was made better when we drove my Newmans on our way to work and saw our girl working. We didn't have to wait till Thursday for a fabulous breakfast and lunch. Maura makes the best breakfast sandwiches' in town and awesome subs. I wish she was there everyday we hate getting breakfast anywhere else except from Maura.
I use to frequent this place all the time, but unfortunately Pete left a bad taste in my mouth like he did with many of the old regulars. A friend goes in and has been telling me to go when Maura works, so I finally did today and she made me the most incredible wrap. Chicken cutlet with sauteed perfectly broccali rabe, fresh mozzarella, and bacon bits. I now know where to go Thurs, Fri and Sat!
Amazing authentic NY deli! Peter, the owner is the real deal and takes care of each order. Every local that comes in, he already knows what they want and how they want it!! Can't wait to come back, Italian sub, superb, potato salad perfectly balanced! Top 3% of all the places I've been to!!
