We discovered Tasty Crab right before the pandemic. This restaurant handled Covid protocols wonderfully and their service has never faltered (regardless of whether we placed a to-go order or dined in when there were less people). I love their seafood boils. Their menu is cost efficient since you can add & take away items in your seafood boils & all their other dishes are well priced. Their calamari and various other appetizers are always fresh & I enjoy their raspberry iced tea!Unfortunately, the ladies room needs dire help. It's almost never clean, smells putrid & they're constantly out of paper goods.However, the service is FABULOUS! Every server we've ever gotten has been wonderful & the food is consistently fresh, well seasoned & well prepared!
Service was kind of slow, the food came out before the apps. BUT the food was so good I didn't even care about the apps. I'll definitely go back again. We got the steamer bag with crab, shrimp and a side of black mussel. There was so much my daughter and I couldn't even finish it.
I have been here 5 times and every time was fantastic. They always got my order correct, waitresses were friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommended. Expect to spend $35-50 a person on though.
I had wanted to eat here for a very long time, but never had the opportunity to do so. I finally had the opportunity and took an out of town friend here to eat. When we walked in we were seated immediately. The place is huge. Our waiter came over and brought us drinks and answered a few questions we had. He also brought us some sort of chips with dip which were very good. The place was very clean. We ordered our meal. The waiter brought our meal, which was in a plastic bag. We also got a small bucket. I had king crab, mussels, shrimp, potatoes and corn on the cob. The first thing I ate was a mussel and when I tasted it, I was amazed at how good it tasted. EVERYthing tasted amazing! Whatever they use for spices and sauce is amazing. Absolutely amazing! I ate right out of the plastic bag (no dishes required) and threw all my shells in the bucket. There was so much food, I couldn't finish it and brought the rest home. I can't wait to go back to eat again. The food is beyond delicious!! Our waiter was excellent. My money was very well spent here.
Tasty Crab is unique dining...interior is casual but lovely. Parking and disabled parking is available but take note that the place is big and it's a long way to the rest rooms so if you're disabled it may be a problem. As for the food, it's delicious. But don't expect a gracious dinner...it can get sloppy...most of the main courses are served clam bake style in a bucket and plastic bag!..but, sooo good. My husband and I had the oysters on a half shell and they were fresh, delicious and shucked correctly. We also had fried calamari and Cajun fries...again, delicious. Dinner was snow crab bake in garlic lemon and scallops bake in Cajun sauce...only beer and wine is served here and I would definitely suggest getting the beer on tap or in a bottle...all in all the Tasty Crab is a fun delicious dining experience.
Very Tasty! That food was seasoned well. So delicious. Not alot of portions. But we need to have smaller portions anyway.We spent 70bucks on lunch.Friendly staff and nice larger space with lots of seating.We felt safe eating thereFOOD WAS GOOD
Just here at add another 5 star review to a great restaurant. My boyfriend and I went the other day with our baby. Sean (sp?) was our server and he was wonderful.This was my second time there but my first time was during covid when you couldn’t go inside. Inside is surprisingly large and if it isn’t crowded, you’ll be seated far away from the other parties. We ordered wings, fried shrimp, corn, and a bucket of seafood. Everything was really really good. The wings and the shrimp were stand out items to me. The wings were some of the best I’ve had anywhere and both the fried shrimp and the shrimp with the shells in the bucket were delicious.
I USE to order from here all the time until today. Asked for extra sauce and all i receive was oil and grease and food that was not great I ended up getting sick for hours…. After speaking with manager he would not refund my card wanted me to bring back what i didn’t eat in order to get my refund ? absolutely disgusted with the manager and the service will not be going back.
