Spice Catering is a wedding dream come true. Billy, Brandon and the entire Spice Catering team are diligent, detail oriented, and we’re truly invested in making sure our day went perfectly - and it did! From Day 1 Billy treated us like family. I called him all the way back in September 2020, almost a full 2 years (COVID engagement) before our actual wedding day. The moment we talked through my vision I knew I was working with an expert in the craft, and the kindest human being. These two things kept things moving and warmed our hearts through what can be a stressful process again and again. In the weeks leading up to the wedding we worked more and more with Brandon who is an absolutely super hero of a human. Brandon is organized, has fantastic communication skills, and works to get every last detail from the timing to the decorations to the people movement absolutely perfect. People kept telling me “be prepared for things to go wrong” but you know what, they DIDN’T. The Spice team works tirelessly to keep people’s glasses full, their appetizers bottomless, and the timeline flawless. If you’re on the fence, do yourself the favor to just sign with Spice. A direct quote from one of our guests was “there are good weddings, and there are excellent weddings, but this wedding might be one of the best ones I’ve been to.”
Friday I had the quiche and lobster bisque. Both were flavorful. The quiche was not dry. The crust was moist and the spinach and feta and small bits of grape tomatoes were good. I enjoy eating a quick, reasonable, and easy lunch here on occasion. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is it is just a bit noisy sometimes but this does not detract from the food.
Speaking on behalf of Spice Catering, I have nothing but the most positive things to say about my experience! I just had them cater for my wedding and it could not have been a more perfect choice. From day one, Billy and his team were SO helpful and communicative in the wedding process. They truly made it so everything we envisioned was possible. On the weekend of my wedding, they were unbelievably organized and everything was smooth as can be. Lastly, every piece of food on the day was amazing and everyone loved it. 10/10 recommend Spice catering for your celebration!!!
Large portions and friendly staff which is a plus ⭐️ Only thing is I found what I got to be pretty average-tasting for the price, and I ordered an almond milk latte but when I got it it was not frothed at all. I opened the lid and everything because I immediately realized something was off. Inside was just coffee with a minuscule amount of almond milk, still almost black coffee. I ended up not drinking it at all, so that wasn’t great. With that being said, maybe they’re usually made better or the dairy milk ones are better, I don’t know- if they are good though, for less than $2, that’s a steal for a latte.
I love the food here. My favorites are the New England Clam Chowder, Classic Tuna Club and the Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken. Any of those selections are amazing like the rest of the food. Oh and their housemade balsamic dressing is so good that I always ask for an extra one with my salad (even though they give you 2!). The staff is friendly and welcoming. Just a great gem of a place!! Check it out and if you can't make it inside the beautiful establishment, they deliver!
Burger with hot pastrami and Russian dressing was really good..
I made a big order over $100 over the phone for me and my coworkers. Within an hour I thought they were calling me to tell my delivery was here. They called to tell me the address was out of their area and they needed to charge me $5 extra. I ordered at 10:45am, our food arrived around 12:15pm and the delivery guy was very rude. He dropped the food off and said he had to run, when I asked him if he needed signatures instead of answering he asked if I was going to tip him. Usually the food is good but all of our food came cold. Very disappointing and not great customer service at all !!
I always get a BLT. They didn't wash their lettuce, then 24hrs later I'm in the hospital due to severe food poisoning. Didn't eat anything before or after my lunch. It's crazy because I even used this place for their catering services for my wedding and they were great... I'm 3 months pregnant with food poisoning, sitting in the hospital from the lunch I had yesterday. Don't get anything with lettuce from here. Otherwise they were a great restaurant.
The cafe food is great. I used to go here all the time working at IBM. I am very happy they have an online ordering system now because calling ahead and waiting a long time for the order wasn't working. They have wifi so it's a nice place to work from for a couple hours also.
Me and my co workers order very frequently, and spend a lot of money at this location. Today is the second time that we were told our orders could not be taken, due to one too many debit cards. I guess we wanted to give too much money to this business? No consideration for loyal customers....
